I got Viviana after 10 pulls, and so now my life's mission currently is saving up for Seige Alter and playing through story to get Guard Amiya. Surtr can be last.

thorns alter skill footage observation notes: s1: targets ground ally, either furthest or highest block bc both yato and corne are in his range. does not heal. s2: either no target (fixed point in front of him like fia, from the looks of it it's max alc range) or targets ground enemy (but the targeted enemy in this showcase has evaporated), i'm more inclined to say it's the former. also reveals map mechanic in which beasts(?) move faster in sand. does not slow. s3: targets all (or a max of?) allies in front of him, creates 'chains', also affects enemies. HUGE range increase (both steward and corne are outside normal alc range), that or special targeting. does not heal, does not slow. skill effects trigger on enemies WITHIN created shape, not only upon touching borders (different from the babel chains).
I feel like he either buffs allies he's tethered to in his S3 OR he's inflicting some debuff on enemies crossing the tethers OR he does both bc he's a special boy and deserves it
