Growing up with the Atari 8-bit computers, I remember having to use a "translator" disk to temporarily revert to OS Rev A from the 800XL's OS Rev B to play older games. While Rev A might be buggy, fixing some of those bugs in Rev B introduced a very nasty bug in Basic that could cause the computer to lock up while typing in lines of code.
You ran out of bagels and the monsters ate you during the night. 😂
