    Hey! can you make a part 3 video for when the agency actually invites you in for the interview. I would like to know red flags to look out for when talking to the agent. Also if their's a top 5-10 questions you should ask the agent to show you're serious about this business. And tips throughout the whole interview process. And ofcourse anything else you wanna add to the video!

    Question, if and when you get an agent in some smaller city in like the southeast part of the U.S. and you get to a point where you move to a big city like L.A. or NYC. Would you have to get a new agent or find a new agency in that city? And if you have a contract with the previous agency, how would you go about something like that?

      In this situation, you can simply put your training on your resume and be honest with the agent and let them know that you haven’t booked anything, simply because you hadn’t had the opportunity to audition before, but it’s something you want to get into and you’re ready to work for it along with with the agency.
      Hope this helps 👍🏼

    Can people from the UK sign up for actors access or is it only for Americans? 😳

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  5 лет назад +4

      Actors access is bigger in the US & Canada. In the UK there are several other options specifically for the UK area. Spotlight being one of them I believe, serving as one of the biggest platforms for the UK. It’s not the only one there of course, but it’s pretty popular in the UK

    I'm from Germany but I really want to act in american movies. So I searched for a German agency that will get you some auditions for american movies. However I didn't found any. My next problem is that I can't meet an amrican agent, because it's pretty complicated. Any tips?

    • @efe8085
      @efe8085 4 года назад

      Start booking work in Germany, with a German agent. A lot of agents apply for American roles regardless of where they are cause Hollywood is like entertainment capital. I'm in london and when I had my former agent he submitted me for some American projects alongside mainly British projects. But obviously with a German agent you will be submitted for mainly german projects. I think you should focus on building up your resume with local films tv short films unpaid work etc. After you have enough professional credits from german film and tv (5-10) then you can either apply for American agents that have specific departments for international actors. Or you move to America and try and land an American agent. Give yourself a year to two years to build up a resume with professional credits in Germany, get a side job and save up during this time as well. Maybe ask your parents for some help. Then move out there and you will be so much more prepared. Oh and make sure you sort out the legal docs to move out 6 months before you leave 😂😂. Good luck you'll smash it ik you will

      Moore is a great place for acting, it's only 15 minutes away from Oklahoma City. There are a lot of casting calls on backstage.com in Oklahoma City. There are some great acting classes around there. If you dream of acting, don't give up because you live in a small city. I haven't given up and the biggest acting type city is 7h 36m away from me.
