The youth want to play and start their careers and will put more passion and spirit on that pitch even if they lose. Amorim can teach young lads, better, in how to play his system.

They seem to be stumbling from one bad decision to another. I don't think they will go down, but it may be a close call. I wonder what will happen in the coming transfer window.
Changing your midfield at half time made no difference, after 45mins and we were 2 nil up, we shut shop, we didn't try to push further upfield, we were happy to just protect the clean sheet, if we had a bigger squad and had the legs we would have ran you ragged for 90mins, regardless who you had on the pitch 😂 You also have to understand that was not our first choice keeper or centre back pairing, Schar is at the end of his career and Botmon is out, but you still couldn't land a glove on us.

Amorim should have accepted Ruud van Nistelroy's offer to stay on and provide continuity. Instead, in the middle of a a busy season, he dispensed with Ruud and (as far as I am aware) with most of the other coaches as well, parachuting his own assistants in and introducing a novel playing system. No wonder the players are confused . . . !

Should have gone for Saudi. Yet another mistake to add to the recruitment mistakes amounting to over half a billion pounds, inflated prices for diminishing returns. Truly awful that the rest of the season will be about avoiding the drop.
I’m not a United fan but he’s trying to work out who fits into his system. Ten Hag gave up on his system plans and relied on individuals which ultimately got him the sack. Now this manager is sticking to his guns and all the media do is criticise. The managers haven’t been the problem, it’s the players and the recruitment.
Sir Jim the biggest polluter in the world (benzene in the air and PFAS in the soils around the globe), didn’t only (re-)hire Ten Hag in the summer. He also hired goalkeepers coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar even if the latter had just signed at Ajax. I don’t know how much he paid for that. Jelle is now at Leicester.
Nope, it will be sore in the short term, but atleast Amorim will have had 3/4 of a season to get a head start for next season as opposed to arriving summer of 2025.

lol in 30 years arsenal have won numerous trophies and dont count the carling pint glass as a trophy u ten haag jock licker wat a clown 🤡 imagine being in a relegation battle and still obsessing over arsenal…rent free
"I consider one of the best jobs of my career was to finish second with Man United in the Premier League" - Jose Mourinho.
Yes,he did a good job but also tried to wreck the team in his third season with the signings made during his time (Onana, ericksen, mount, Anthony, zirkzee, rasmus) not to mention average players like wegworst, amrabat
Arsenal have won 4 fa cups in the past 10 years or so ?
Does anyone else think this couldn’t happen to a better club 😂
Remember when those of us who wanted the Qatari ownership and zero debt were flamed to hell?
Crooks looks far too excited with glee all over his face for a supposed "United fan." He definitely strikes me as someone who stopped being a fan and has given into straight negativity for clicks, content, and his own brand promotion.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He's angry and upset. It manifests in many ways.
TBH I am happy too as a Utd fan. The reason we aren’t bothered is a lot of us want to see things get so bad that the Glazers leave. We know with them, we will never ever be successful. Would rather be relegated than stay in 4th-8th position forever which keeps Glazers in the money
Why everytime I see a clip speaking about United
It's always "Worst Team" or Worst match" they've ever seen
Because united, live in everyone’s heads rent free. If they win the league they will break the internet, if they get relegated they will break the internet.
Because every game they get worse so it's a new worst game? 🤷🏻♂️
As a scouser and a liverpool fan im loving this the day fergie left a black cloud covered old trafdord and the curse atill lives on today YNWA
Ronaldo said it. Everybody criticized him 😅
They won’t go down as there are 3 or 4 teams worse than them but SJR has made a right pig’s ear of things.
Not much you can do with man u.
are there really though? the other bottom teams all look ready for the fight, united dont. wolves and ipswich both winning games now, palace finding form. southampton gave us a tougher test than united did. they could really be in trouble
What did Bugsby do? What did Ferguson do? Play the Youth. Youth is impressionable, easier to condition, would respect Amorim more, the owners can control their wages and egos. The youth want to play and start their careers and will put more passion and spirit on that pitch even if they lose. Amorim can teach young lads, better, in how to play his system.
Absolute nonsense. Busby played “the yoof” alongside world class senior pros and we paid a British record fee for Dennis Law to move from Torino. And “the yoof” of 92 were brought into a team with players like Cantona, Schmeichel and Keane
@jhpfdijtuiweruot Well you have no world class players, just pros who play rubbish. I would rather see youth inject passion back into the club.
You lot have short memories, every other week we played like this under ETH…THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE MANAGER
Who’s blaming the manager?
In 2022, Ratcliffe saw a last-ditch £4.25bn bid for Chelsea - a club he grew a “split allegiance” for during his time in London - rejected.
“I am a season ticket holder at Chelsea,” the billionaire told the Daily Telegraph in 2018. “Have been for years, although I’m a Manchester United fan really. Or was… but it’s not getting any better (at United)." Hook, line and sinker…
Also tried to buy Barcelona in the middle of that, he’s a knobhead
Hey Jim! Maybe if United remove paid lunch breaks for the dinner ladies at the training ground it might turn things around?
Rashford and Gernacho were up for the ballon dor after the Barnsley game?
Every fanbase does the same to be fair
Radcliff FOR LIFE. Cost cutting MUST continue. The Women's team must be next on the chopping block, and the academy must BE CLOSED DOWN. There is still a massive amount of cost to be taken out. INEOS!! INEOS!!
Denis Law's greatest ever goal
Having been there when we were relegated I can safely say the 74 side never looked as outclassed and out thought as the first half of the Newcastle game
This is so much like the Ashley. Regime at Newcadtle
it reminds me more of whats happened to everton because they've still spent a lot of money unlike mike ashley
Ashley never spent the money this lot have in the last year.
@@jonathandonnini6653 this part is true
What happens if they actually do get relegated with Rashford and Casimero still on the books?
They will have to sell the entire or a huge majority of the club. They will have no plan long term for it especially cause it was likely always seen as an impossibility but they should seriously start making one now. I hope they don't though I want them out.
Look what happened to Leeds. They ended up in League One.
Ineos are the poisoned chalices of the sports world - f1, cycling, their football teams, the americas cup….🤡🤡🤡
They seem to be stumbling from one bad decision to another. I don't think they will go down, but it may be a close call. I wonder what will happen in the coming transfer window.
Loving life as a Liverpool fan rn ngl... 😂
YNWA
Changing your midfield at half time made no difference, after 45mins and we were 2 nil up, we shut shop, we didn't try to push further upfield, we were happy to just protect the clean sheet, if we had a bigger squad and had the legs we would have ran you ragged for 90mins, regardless who you had on the pitch 😂
You also have to understand that was not our first choice keeper or centre back pairing, Schar is at the end of his career and Botmon is out, but you still couldn't land a glove on us.
Oh shut up no one cares about Newcastle ..stop tryna force a rivalry..
So funny watching manure fans go through what every other fan goes through! Manure are not above bad times or even relegation, it’s been a long time coming 🥳
United and City Relegated now that would be an interesting Championship Season
Manchester United fans are disgusting for booing their young player truly embarrassing what a horrible coward fan base
I’m so glad glazers are ineos are making them cry
He’s a 23 year old man. Get a grip on your emotions
I’m a Man Utd fan since 1998 and this is so sad and depressing
Blaming the glazers , under their ownership they’ve won 12 trophies including 5 titles. It’s not the ownership. Address the fact that Ferguson forced the sale to the glazers
No he didn't.
It doesn't matter what happened over a decade ago the present is all that matters and things are degrading fast...
They’re not getting relegated, it’s what we all want but it’s Sadly not happening
Liverpool are going to play a weakened side on Sunday as they’ve an important cup game the week after against Accrington Stanley
INEOS HAVE taken us backwards. Does anyone at the club know what they're doing ? We pulled all the stops out to get Dan Ashworth then sacked him within a couple of months , then we sold arguably one of our best players Scott McTominay to Napoli who can't believe their luck !! The managers job is now a poisoned chalice , it's going to be a long road back. Good luck Ruben , you're going to need it !
Rio Ferdinand " Manchester united are back under oillie at the wheel 😂😂😂😂
Well they did finish 2nd and 3rd something Liverpool and Chelsea and teams celebrate every yr..
@tonym1424 did they win the title?, can you put 2nd and 3rd in your thropy cabinet? NO. Hey good luck enjoying beening a middle of table team 😭😭 hey but your BACK👍👍👍👍😭😭😭😭😭
@tonym1424 as your only legend once said' the table doesn't lie' . So Manchester united are back as middle of table team 👍😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@rickyleyland-my4is ya can just tell from the bitterness that United ruined your childhood lifting them 13 prem titles 😂
@tonym1424 your a pathetic mancs, cos your history is beening wiped out by Liverpool 20 League title 😭😭and 6 champions league. Keep living in your past middle of table team 😭😭😭
Relegation contract release clauses could be the clean slate utd need 😂
Fans like Crook who enable average coaches to stay in the job far too long (Ole & EtH), for them to continue to buy average players & then have the audacity to complain! Fans have played a huge role in accepting mediocrity at the club.
Ignorant comment
@@El-Rattledironic.
this sounds kinda ridiculous now, it wasnt too long ago Ole had this club finishing 2nd and the entire squad and city was happy. Ironically it was Ole buying ronaldo instead of an "average player" that ended up costing him his job. imagine if he had stayed where you might be now. certainly not fighting relegation thats for sure..
@@MattMajcan I don't know what your point is, but if you are trying to stick up for Ole, then manager who took over from Jose and started the obsession with mediocrity, I don't know what to say. Maybe take up a different sport 🤷
@@kol9382 No you're right, sacking Ole and going from 2nd to 14th was definitely the right move.
Best thing to do when Alex Crook speaks is to turn off radio. Know nothing numpty
Know
On that basis do you smash the radio when Troy Deeney starts barking.
@@MathewParker-by4nx No, the radio is already smashed up after Agbonlahor came on
I'm waiting for an Erik Ten Nil against Liverpool... Good for Erik that he won't be around to blame for it!
As a utd fan it was nice to see Newcastle play some football, direct, enthusiastic, talented, yea it's been a while ,fancy de ligt being the only one to have a shot on target ,jokers ,66 quid to watch non attacking garbage
Don’t blame the managers … blame the club and the owners….
5:38 did they? Why could we see red seats and read the Manchester United seating from minute 80?
Amorim should have accepted Ruud van Nistelroy's offer to stay on and provide continuity. Instead, in the middle of a a busy season, he dispensed with Ruud and (as far as I am aware) with most of the other coaches as well, parachuting his own assistants in and introducing a novel playing system. No wonder the players are confused . . . !
Ineos are playing games so they can buy United at a low price
wouldn't surprise me
What about how GOOD Newcastle played!!!!
Remember the owners wanted Potter or Southgate but supporters made it clear they wouldn’t accept them . Either of them wouldn’t have been THIS BAD . So you got what you asked for so please stop moaning
Do you mean Harry Potter?
I heard INEOS wears a Liverpool wrist watch 😂
It’s the players and why no mention by Gary N about the ownership.. he said it’s the new players it’s not the new players it’s the Glazers , Inneos , the never fit Shaw the not fit to wear the shirt Casimero , Rashford it’s all the players without the football IQ to play the system
Sir Jim never had enough money to fix this Club. I won't forget his part ownership kept the Glazer's in situ.
I'm hoping that utd get relegated, and maybe glaziers will then take their talons out of the utd carcass and fly off for richer pickings elsewhere.
So funny they thought they were the saved under Ineos 😂
Crooks has a serious neck to be taking potshots like that.
Need to be relegated and have a proper clear out at this stage. Would also relieve some of the pressure when they come back up. Ferguson cast a big shadow.
How is this person still on Talksport ? He hasn't a clue about football apart from passing on third party gossip with no foundation. Should be doing womens darts.
I like how almorin was testing Rashford last night. Made him warm up all night just to check his character
City relegated United 50 years ago this year. Watch this space we could do it again!
Clubs a disgrace
Mike Ashley 2.0 😂😂
As a manutd fans, i find difficult to swallow our fans comments. Most wanted and begging, praising INEOS. now fans are pointing fingers towards INEOS, players. Is Amorim a good coach, rememeber mancity and liverpool did a thorough analysis of the coach slection to repalce jurgen klopp and pep guardiola, they reject Amorim because of his system of 3 at the back. It will be a waste of time investing in a new players for a system that never worked in PL. Klopp tried it, pep tried it, they were in better leagues. How come suddenly the Portuguese league is a top league, only porto and benfica are the toughest team there
Always the glazers 😂😂
It is though. I'm not even an united and feel bad for what the glazers have done. They are like a giant parasite.
We can only dream. I have always thought there has been an arrogance about United and its fans.
The self proclaimed “Biggest club in the world”
Playing at the “Theatre of dreams”
I hope they go down.
They need humbling.
Question for any fella united fan if he played collyer and manioo I think he would be better equipped showed his lack of knowledge in this league it's power and pace league
As not a fan of Manchester United tell me this..Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS only own 27 % of the club and my knowledge was INEOS will only be in control of the football side of operations..so why are they doing all this extra stuff at the club like all the cost cutting plans ..?
Carrick to get them out of Championship next season
Should have gone for Saudi. Yet another mistake to add to the recruitment mistakes amounting to over half a billion pounds, inflated prices for diminishing returns. Truly awful that the rest of the season will be about avoiding the drop.
The amount of sides Newcastle catch other sides worst ever performances grows.. so lucky Newcastle.
🤨
@@JayChurch-s6m Possibly he means everyone always says the teams Newcastle play are bad and never say Newcastle are good?
Newcastle never ever get their flowers. Just as well we dropped a gear you spunk bubble
😂 its true @@danielkfinlay
Ineos have blanked Amorim in January. He must feel gutted knowing he staked his career and reputation on this job and the owners aren't backing him.
😂😂😂😂united as a club but wrecked as a team
Nottingham Forrest in CL position, Liverpool winning the league and Man Utd fighting relegation. The 70s are back😂
Should've kept Ten Hag until the end of the season or Ruud as interim until the end of the season.
Nope, it will be sore in the short term, but atleast Amorim will have had 3/4 of a season to get a head start for next season as opposed to arriving summer of 2025.
@@kol9382 I think if he doesn't win a game soon there will be a problem. The two home games against Southampton or Brighton could be crucial for his job.
@@rugbyanalyst1what's left to play for though? Unless we get relegated, we aren't making the champions league. Would rather he stick to his principals I prep for a big summer window than play the same formation that got Ten hag sacked.
@@kol9382 When you represent Manchester United, winning games I think is important. I'm not a fan but I don't think big clubs get to write off the season. He needs to win some games whilst sticking to his principles.
Amorin had a favourable fixture list , that’s surely the scariest thing.
It's class to see
Matterface "I thought the fans staying 'til the end was impressive" REALLY?! It's a home game. Staying until the end is called being a fan. Just one example... Carlisle fans have seen their side get relegated and fall into the League two relegation places this season yet their fans still show up to Bromley, Gillingham and Newport away in full support of their team.
