I’m raising my daughter in BGC currently, but there are drawbacks. Want decent education and don’t want to homeschool? You’re going to pay over $10,000 a year. Limited opportunities to play sports. Surprisingly, hardly any playgrounds. As they get older, are they learning to drive in this traffic? Lots to consider that I feel like so many people don’t think about.

This is such a great rundown. What I felt when I was in BGC was that the place felt...alive (unlike here in Los Angeles, of all places). People were doing activities all over the place. The malls were filled with people -- malls here in the US are boring and dead compared to the Philippines. BGC is great. Real estate prices are just going to shoot up.
There’s a hidden gem in makati called Little Tokyo , amazing authentic Japanese food ,I’m sure your family would love to explore. Hope I’ll get to watch your family visit this hidden gem in the near future.
Oh, that's very interesting! We've been loving the Mitsukoshi setup in Uptown, but Little Tokyo sounds like a similar experience that we definitely need to check out!
The whole of Metro Manila is very vibrant. Still, she has a lot of chaos, rustic corners, and on-going developments… Give it a few more years, a decade or two, and hopefully, everything will get better. 😊😉
Stayed in BGC for a few nights few weeks ago, location is spot on near to everything! Hoping to stay longer someday in the philippines. We were on 3 weeks and half holiday and it was a blast, now my partner now wants to go back again sooner and hoping to stay longer! We stayed in BGC for the first few nights and last nights and in between we went to Elnido, boracay and bicol XD

I grew up there when it was a military camp. We used to hunt spiders when we were kids. Until now, our ancestral house is still there, opposite of Market! Market! along C5 road. BGC or formerly known as Fort Andres Bonifacio means a lot to us, as we experience growing up there and witnessed initially how it progress until we moved to Austin, Texas. Thanks for this video! btw my fave restaurant is Kamay kainan. It's a Filipino buffet style in Market, Market
Palawan firefly river is by far the best experience I've had and I've been all over the philippines. i don't know if you'll be able to capture it on camera though.
please take a SCUBA diving classed and start diving the Philippines! The most beautiful places in the Philippines is underwater! Start at ANilao, Batangas then check out Puerto Gallera, Verde Islands. Then, go to Moalboal, Cebu and in Bohol area. Then go to Balicasag, malapascua, Coron, and the best-- Tubbataha reef. You can do liveaboard diving, too. Check out Vigan, Bataan islands, Subic Bay, Batanes; Go to El nido, Pangalusian islands. And one of the best luxury resort, Amanpulo Resort. Also, There are many beaches up north in Alaminos, Pangasinan. Check out the most perfect volcano---Mayon! Also, check out the Rice terraces of Sagada (it is like being in Bali) and Baguio. Check out the other islands of SAmar, leyte, tacloban, dumaguete. Happy Travels!
Back when I was younger (specifically 10 years ago when I was in college) the heat here in Philippines specifically in Manila is not that really hot. Sadly it’s different now.
and that's not even all of it, the new rising futuristic city that will be built along the Manila Bay will make it even more interesting to invest in the country! It's definitely going to surpass BGC and other cities all over the world! The land reclamation is already on going and the city is set to be open in 2035! If yall go to Mall of Asia or just happen to pass by Manila bay, you'll see the quick progress of the project already! So much land has already been put there! so exciting for the Philippines!
BGC is a ultra modern city bubbles where famous movie stars, politicians, celebrities, expats, rich millennials maintain a condo there. You're really a big timer if you live there.
Great video, however Uptown and Grand central park is not outside BGC. It's still Bonifacio Global city, if you really would like to separate it from BGC highstreet, you may call it Norrh BGC (and yes it's not just uptown). McKinley hill and West are out of BGC, north BGC is still in BGC. Thanks for the video

New Clark City is the next BGC.. but 10x the size, more advanced , closer to the north and more nearby nature. Give it more 5 more years.

Great video, however Uptown and Grand central park is not outside BGC. It's still Bonifacio Global city, if you really would like to separate it from BGC highstreet, you may call it Norrh BGC (and yes it's not just uptown). McKinley hill and West are out of BGC, north BGC is still in BGC. Thanks for the video
