    Hi William, just bought the Weebill S yesterday. Enjoyed your video. Thank you. What is the purpose of the riser. Do you use it?

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  3 года назад +1

      That’s great to hear RL. The purpose of the raiser is for bigger lens vs the camera body. So if your lens is wider than the camera body, You’ll need it. This is to prevent the lens from rubbing on the quick release (hope that makes sense lol) but instead of adding the provided raiser I use the Manfrotto 323 RC2 quick release which makes moving the camera on and off super quick and serves the same purpose.
      Another good tip...When I tried to balance a camera with a heavier longer lens without the lens holder the gimbal would micro vibrate and once I added it back it stoped.
      Hope this was helpful. Please feel free to ask any additional questions if needed. Congrats on the new gimbal.

      @@WilliamNevius Lastly, when you open it for the first time after buying it do we need to charge the batteries or does it have factory charge ?

    • @WilliamNevius

      Charge the batteries up fully first. Also, before tour first time using it for a shoot. Practice balancing it so you can have it setup beforehand. Practice using it and the modes as well so you have the know how to operate as well.

      That’s great to hear 👊🏽 I’m happy you found this helpful. It is a learning curve if it’s your first time using a gimbal so practice practice practice…before you decide fo actually use it. Balancing can be a challenge at first but eventually you can get to less than 2-3 mins so your shoot isn’t held up. Overall a great gimbal tho. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have 😏🙌🏾👍🏽

    • @WilliamNevius

      The gimbal can work with any camera and lens setup under 8 pounds. In my opinion it works best with smaller mirror less camera setups.

    I was planning to buy this gimbal, but the only problem i am facing is how do i travel with it since it doesn’t come with a carry case like dji ronin sc. Is there a way to get a carry case for this gimbal or a cheap hack to carry it around

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  2 года назад

      Since the gimbal is small and brakes down good I just stuff it in my 21 liter wandr provk camera bag. I’ve also will attach it to the outside in the water bottle holder. I had the crane plus which came with a carrying case which was good but I never used much.
      There are aftermarket options as well like this one rated well amzn.to/3SEWdaO
      So I think you’ll be okay. If you go that route. Still a great gimbal in my opinion

    • @adityajha9797
      @adityajha9797 2 года назад

      The aftermarket bag which you have sent it great and will solve my purpose the only issue is the bag in US is 35$ but in India it’s 100$ lol

      It’s probably the way you are balancing at first balancing is hard to do.
      I notice mine vibrates if I don’t balance all axis correctly so check that. Also, check the weight and make sure it’s centered
