- Here is my review of the Sitka Delta Wading Jacket. This is a great piece to keep you dry in all Waterfowl applications. I hope this review can help you in your purchasing decision.

I have a Sitka Kodiak for sit hunts/waterfowl and a Dewpoint jacket/pants for backcountry/fishing, and that's all I will ever need. You could pick up the Kodiak for around $300 for a long time before they sold out. Great purchase. I do like the cargo pockets on that thing.
You deserve more subscribers and views for great content and how much money you spend on these to give us a solid review and always your thoughts
Excellent reviews across the board. Just ordered this jacket even though I’m someone who gets cold easily, I’m in arkansas where you can be sweating during the season. You made the decision easy to get the most out of this jacket.
What a great review, really laid it all out nicely. Thank you!
Great review. This helps out a ton. Thank you!!
I love this jacket. I like to layer it with a Dakota vest as well as the core heavyweight hoody. Sometimes both. I myself always always wear waders when I hunt. Haven’t had the need to layer it over my duck oven jacket yet. But if the temps drop enough here in WI I will do so.
Thanks for the breakdown here because there are no stores around me that carry the array of Sitka Gear Waterfowl (Bass Pro, Cabela's, Sportsman's )
Excellent review!
Good vid man, I’m buying this one because of the versatility, it’s damp n wet here in Texas so waterproof is the best
I’d love to see a comparison of the Fahrenheit and duck over jacket
I have this jacket I love it you can wear it anytime hot or cold this man nose what he’s talking about!
It has the hand warmers at the chest right ?
Good video and review. What is the torso length difference between the DWJ and the Hudson and other mid layers like the gradient jacket that you put on. Wondering if it is cut much shorter or just a little bit.
I’m releasing a Hudson vs. DWJ review on Sunday. I’ll cover all of that. Thank you for your comment.
Nice review man. I got the Hudson jacket but am not sure how it'll fare in terms of length when wading, compared to the DWJ. Have heard of some guys tucking their Hudson into their waders, but any experience on rocking the Hudson in non-field hunting scenarios? Thanks and keep up the reviews
I’ve worn my Hudson many times with waders, no issues. If I think the water is deep, I’ll tuck it in my waders, if it’s fairly shallow I’ll leave it untucked. Thanks for watching.
What a great review....I recently bought the Sika Delta wading jacket. I tried an old fleece jacket inside but my shoulders were still cold in a light California rain at 45 degrees.I have goretex protection with the Sitka shell, so I do not need another Sitka jacket with wind or rain protection. What would you recommend underneath for better insulation in the shoulder area?
Wear what ever provided warmth before you got the DWJ in 45 degrees, then put the DWJ over to keep the moisture out. I like a gradient jacket under my DWJ in the 40’s and high 30’s. Once the temps get below freezing, I use my Duck Oven.
Thanks for the video! I currently have the gradient hoodie. If I have a good base layer, gradient hoodie, Dakota vest, then this DWJ what temps could I comfortably hunt in? Deciding on the DWJ or the Hudson. Thanks
Easily into the low 30’s.
Only complaint is that the front of the jacket sits a little higher than any other jacket would. Sits right on my belt and the back hangs down past my back pockets
All those things you listed to "zip in" to this jacket should be under your waders.
