Also, funny thing, I actually tried to do a challenge to see if you can beat Sonic Adventure with a 3 button Genesis controller (and the answer is yes. It is possible in case you're wondering)
I'm just going to say this: with Sonic Origins Plus coming out next Friday, I kind of wish we'd get like a 3D Sonic collection across all platforms that contains Adventure 1, Adventure 2 and Heroes
Challenge request : Yakuza 0 Minimum Ability Challenge Rules: The goal is to beat Yakuza 0's Story Mode, from a fresh save file to the end credits, while purchasing as few abilities as possible. Abilities can be obtained in each battle style's skill tree by sacrificing some of your funds to obtain it. As a bonus challenge, the Legend battle styles (Dragon of Dojima for Kiryu and Mad Dog of Shimano for Majima) have to be unlocked as well, while also beating the final boss with them if applicable.
Probably not. No official release of Sunshine allows you to remap JUST Up and Down on the Control Stick. And to my knowledge, the D-pad and C Stick aren't as useful.
@@DrRank not only that you can't even move forward, I think you can dive but that's it, there's no roll, and flood is useless unless with the turbo nuzzle which you unlock late in the game
Fun fact: it’s actually very easy to beat “Oh No!” man without moving Sonic at all: Homing Attack Knuckles as he walks towards you at the start of the fight. Then, he will walk away to glide over to you where you wanna jump into him. The 2 characters will be bumped back and you will be facing Knuckles where you can Homing Attack him again. Repeat the second attack and Knuckles will say “Oh No!” one last time, ending the fight.
For egg hornet you can mash the jump button to drain his health immediately I always use this method because of how funny it sounds: “”HRAH! HRAH! HE’S- HRAH!”
Knuckles is the only other character capable of gaining horizontal momentum with one of his abilities, so I'm really curious how the other characters will go. (Though I wouldn't imagine Big's story being an issue.)
Awesome video. A challenge to see how far you can get into a game blindfolded would be pretty cool :) Or single levels like Boulders in Crash Bandicoot, could be interesting to see done blindfolded.

Makes sense as the game only really needs 2 face buttons

And shadow the hedgehog as it’s a part of that same generation!
Eggman: Come on Sonic. Step foward!
Sonic: Can’t! Too hard.

Of course you can, at least in theory; just put the camera beside your character at all times and then you will only be pressing left and right
Saying Act 1 of Twinkle Park Zone is easy is like saying Super Mario Bros. 2 (JP) is free.
Even casually, that section never gave me much trouble.
And Mario: The Lost Levels is technically free with NSO
@@DrRank In a pacifist run than Twinkle Park is impossible but I guess it is whatever in a regular run.

I haven't even played Yakuza casually
Can you do Mario sunshine without pressing up or down?

Try crash 4 without spinning :D
We get there when we get there!
Can you beat mario 64 without going up or down, or alternatively beat 64 with jumping
You can beat the Egg Hornet faster by mashing the homing attack. It works every time.
Huh. Didn't know that.
0:18 3d Blast exists
I said a GOOD 3D platformer

I already served my sentence with the Lego City Undercover video, thank you very much!
In casinopolis, pressing a will activate both flippers at the same time and is the method I’ve always used
See, I didn't know about that, but I probably wouldn't have used it because I'm used to Generations pinball
@@DrRank I’m not making fun of you for not knowing that I’m just giving you tips for how to perform better
2:07 ripped straight out of the OVA (or did the OVA rip it out of SA1 since they were in development at the time)
Sonic X released about five years after SA1, and used it as a basis for the first quarter of Season 2.
@@DrRank there's another Sonic OVA
