I think the reason why you couldn't interact with it before was because the neighbor wasn't stunned, then you made him tiny and used the firework before trying again. Maybe you can only 'enter the house' (when the doors actually on the house) when you've at least stunned him, and the next to steps are just to make it easier to reach if your struggling to reach it, at the sacrifice of the time and effort to set pff more attacks and risking dying if you fall without an umbrella.

IGP, I've seen a ton of HN challenges, everything from having to beat the game with a certain number of lives to building box walls and forts and such but I haven't seen anything like a beat the game without using any umbrellas (at least until the basement when you have no choice). So how about this challenge:
You must reach the basement without using any umbrellas. You are allowed to use umbrellas in the basement and final boss level, since it's impossible to beat those maps without an umbrella, but not in the main house, where it should be extremely difficult but possible.

I just noticed, this whole door in the sky glitch is very similar to the Dark Souls 1 Easter egg in which, there is a pointless door in the sky at an area called The Duke's Archives.
I can imagine TinyBuild putting an easteregg for you in the game and purposely making it extremely encrypted, making the player suffer through tons of codes to get to it just to tease with you x).

the reason you couldn't touch the door at full size is probably because you didn't hit him with anything yet. It's probably locked behind the sequence

I think its less the size with the door and more that you stunned him first

hey igp the golden apple still exists i hello neighbor beta 3 you have to somehow get the golden apple(watch a video) then watch a tutorial of how to get the gun then in the tutorial where in a room where there is the golden apple sign and a piece of cake, then on your left there is a wall,ghost through the wall then throw the golden apple in it this will trigger the cutscene hope it helped this was all in a video by video gaming news
