- A live version of "Sister Nightfall" by Sirenia. Not sure how old this is, but it's definitely not recent seeing as how the former singer is in it. Oh, and at the beginning you also get to hear a liiiittle bit of Morten speaking in Norwegian. ^_^

There is a drummer there allright! It's me; I used to play with the band in the very start. This is from infernofestival 2003, in Oslo. Jonathan of Trail took over the drumthrone in, I think it was the 18th or 19th of May, 2003, during the Magic of Angels festival tour, we had to cancel a gig in Nurnberg because of some disagreements with the recordcompany.Jonathan sat in instead of me after the Nurnberg show, and he did a hell of a job:-)

Altough I like the live performance I spotted a mistake in Henriette's second part.
The part was supposed to be "would you like to wear the secrets of the seven seas / would you like to be what you can't be" but insted she either mixed the parts up or she repeated the first part.
But this should be no offense. I like Morten, I like Henriette, I like Fabienne, the song itself, the choir and the instruments.
Also the "white light" while the choir was singing lokked epic!!
Thanks for the compliment. I usually play in a band called Myriads. Joining up with Sirenia at the time, was a real treat. I wish for them all the best:-) Who are you and what do you do?:-)

Can you please tell me who Fabienne is? Surely the former singer is called Henriette Bordvik.
A friend of mine who was at this concert said that not only the synth, bass and choirs were sampled, but also the drums. Does anyone know if this is true, was this before Jonathan joined? You don't actually see a drummer in any of the videos from this concert I think, just a lot of smoke behind the band?

Yo lo oyi ase 2 dias y me sorprendio tambien. No se, pero si Morten ase la misma musica de antes quiza si le va la vos de Aylin. Me gusta lo de ella, pero a mi se me oye muy pop. Si se que a mucha gente no les gustaba con Monika. Seriamente a mi me gusto con ella. Como te lo dije en el commentario el primer disco de ellos sigue siempre mi favorito :)

Fijate que ami me gusta todo lo que Sirenia ha puesto. Pero pienso de que lo mejor de ellos era en los principios de la banda. Mi favorito album de ellos es todavilla At Sixes And Sevens. Y si lo que dices tu es cierto :)
I enjoy listening to them, but Sixes And Sevens by far is my favorite album from them.
Desde que dejé esa publicación me he adentrado en Sirenia y me han gustado todos sus discos excepto por Nine Destines... no me gustó ni la voz de Monika ni las composiciones nada complejas de Morten, la ausencia de guturales y el sonido poperón de sus canciones. Lo curioso es que decidí darle oportunidad a Sirenia cuando escuché esta misma canción Sister Nightfall, cantada en vivo por Aylín , me sorprendió y gustó muchísimo la interpretación

gran primer disco de la banda! despues fue decayendo mal, a excepcion de una q otra cancion. igual q tristania cuando se fue morten. Heniriette volvè!! aylin es hermosa pero la escuche en vivo y es un desastre. Es una pena!

Soy fan de Tristania pero esta banda nunca me ha llamado la atencion, quizas porque lo que he escuchado de ellos es cantado por Monika y Aylin y es el peor momento y mas comercial de Sirenia, sin embargo estoy enamorado de esta cancion desde hace unos meses... y despues de escuchar a Henriette en vivo creo que sus discos con ella y Henriette y Fabianne si valen la pena ya que esta cancion es hermosa, como lo era Tristania

The singer is Henriette Bordvik, she was my favorite, but she doesn't sound that good live.
at sixes and sevens was Fabienne Gondamin henriette got hired after the album was recorded
The singer is awful, the rest of the band is just awsome!!
