I've been trying to find metal bands that incorporate shamisen into their music for a long time now. Thanks for posting this vid man. I always knew about God of Shamisen, and in my opinion, they aren't that great.. but now I've found a couple more that are really quite good. Thanks man.
i remember this 'nu-metal' band from france called Pleymo ,, i listened to that in highschool _ but ,, it's not french but here it goes _ i suggest Nicole , , a band from Finland ,, singing in finish language _ beautiful melodies but really brutal _ depending from album to album
i'm searchin for metal band who mixes metal music and traditional music from any country like Fu Xi (i'm just discovering it) or Eluveitie... thx for posting it :)
maybe you should include some folk metal bands of mexico...they often incorporate traditional instruments and sometimes sing in indigenous languages of this country, like nahuatl, they also incorporate mythology in their lyrics...myself being mexican, I only know two of these bands...''Yaotl Mictlan'' and ''Muluc Pax''...
Hey, folklover. Do you know any good French metal band who sings in its original language? I´ve relly tried hard founding nothing but Eths. Sorry for my bad English D:
finland was annexed to the orient in "the fool's war" of 1803, which was largely uneventful except for some sweet ass metal bands playing for its duration of 3 days
@jfacleon97 the band Egofall is from China, so they can not be Mongolian, and "Mongolian metal" or "mexican metal" can not be a music genre. yes, it's about
@gewangew I have his album. He's not the greatest at throat singing. Yat Kha is better, but Altan Urag's vocalist is fucking amazing. Hey, great video. Whispered is sick as fuck. Good to know there are other people out there who love folk/oriental/shamanic metal as much as I do.
Estas bandas son geniales, pero poka gente las sigue. La mayoria d los q escuchan folk se tira casi al puro viking, pero hay bandas buenas en todos lados.
