Hello everyone, this is Korean Unnie who makes learning Korean Fun & Easy! I started my RUclips channel when I was a University Student because I was studying abroad in America and came across many people around the globe who was interested in Korean language and the country itself, South Korea. So I made this channel 'Korean Unnie' as I wanted to be the next door Korean Unnie to all of you who have subscribed! By the way to whom doesn't know, 'Unnie' means sister in Korean. To be specific, 'older sister' and it is a term used by girls to be specific. Well now it became like a pronoun and 'Korean Unnie' refers to me, Sohyun Moon! I am really glad that I was able to make this progress along the RUclips journey so I am able to reach more and more of you!
I uploaded a variety of content related to learning Korean and about Korea from learning Korean Alphabets, learning Korean through K POP, learning Korean Slangs, Proverbs, Idioms, Sino-Korean Words (Hanja), situational Must-Know phrases, real-life based must-know phrases, Korean grammar patters... and so much more!
I wish I can continue to deliver fun & easy content for you guys with more various content in creative ways, and as I go on, my work will be more systemized and organized. I plan to grow the Korean Unnie brand and publish e-books, create merches, and many more.

It's a pattern often observed in developed countries with healthy economies. People have no need for religion when their lives are relatively easy and free from hardship.

@@user-no9im9px6e the point is that you say it as muslim even if your pronounciation might be a little different. Other countries like the UK and the US say it as muZlim and iZlam even though they know it's wrong and they do it intentionally.
I am a Roman Catholic Christian .even though my name sounds like Hindu . I never knew there were catholic christians in Korea .no matter which religion we belong everyone should respect other religion and never degrade them . I truly 100% believe in Jesus , mother Mary and angels 👼 and I believe they hold the most superior position in my life yet that never prevents me in respecting other religions because there is no religion in friendship and unity

I'm surprised you didn't include traditional folk religion and words like shaman. It seems to be an important part of Korean culture. I guess it's included in the 1% category but I wonder whether that's because people don't claim it as their main religious belief.
I think shamanism is not recognised as a religion in Korea because it's an oral tradition so there is no direct teaching, thus it's not a 교
@@learikosontcuit7129 Interesting thought. I assume you mean oral vs written since you can't get much more direct than teaching someone orally. Religion is usually defined by a set of beliefs rather than how they're transmitted. If your theory is correct maybe it's a Korean thing, like the hair-splitting that goes on in kpop. lol
Maybe because shamanism is not a separate religion per se. We have shamanic practices in some regions of India as well, especially people who follow Hinduism and Buddhism.
I'm a Hindu from a state called Uttrakhand in India and we follow shamic traditions in our culture too!

I feel like religious cultural identity is often times grouped with being religious or spiritual in general. They are very different although they do go hand in hand. Just be sure to respect everyone’s beliefs, don’t try to convert them, and be a good person

Because it doesn’t teach people even the most basic thing about Korea, which is that it’s Confucian culture, and you need to understand that in order to live in Korea and speak Korean.

The interesting thing was that during the late 1800s in Korea, Pyongyang was known as Jerusalem of the east due to the fact that many Korean Christians dwelled there.
I find no reason to respect any religion. Same way, I find no reason to disrespect any religion. As long as, it encompasses 'live and let live' principle, I don't have any problem.

Years ago, at the World Youth Day in Rio/Brazil, I saw a family of Koreans watching my group of friends dancing. It stuck in my memory because they were smiling to us, I kept thinking about the fact that they traveled so far to join us and I prayed for them to have a good and peaceful stay in Rio. So now I've learned that in addition to coming from the other side of the world, my brothers in the faith were part of that 13% of South Korean 천주교. ^^

Buddhism is most respected and loved religion in South korea because buddhism gives freedom to people and Buddhist people can be athiest whereas in protestant Christianity not those catholic ones but in Protestantism they actually lead lot of cults so majority Koreans don't like Protestantism alot...
