I’m curious which Mexican Fender P bass you picked up. I’m searching for a P bass, but really can’t afford the US models. Great video and thank you in advance
Player Series
@@basstheworldofficial Solid! How does it compare to the Nate Mendel? At this point in time, I’m relying on videos and other people’s opinions due to the pandemic. Thank you for messaging me back right away, you rock man :)
The Player Series P-Basses have baseball bat necks, really big. But I dig that. You have to work a bit more, which naturally results in playing less notes - I consider this a good thing. Haven't played the Mendel, but two of those and they were both great. Also love the new colors!
@@basstheworldofficial :) Thank you for your insight! Be well and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
I have an American standard jazz bass I am curious if you could recommend some replacement pickups

For me that stock fender jazz bass sounds better than your classic sandberg california 🙊
That’s fine. Wait till you hear the fender with Kloppmanns!
The neck on that bass is amazing! I wish the pickups were better. I also wish they made them Road Worn too.
"The pickups are a bummer", said the pro bassist.
Shiny, yet, somehow still falls short...
Thanks Gregor ! This is exactly the Fender jazz bass sound I love to ear !
