The Bill Cosby story is still so damn sad. Such an important and beloved pop cultural figure, and such a disgusting POS at the same time. As a black person of a certain age, honestly it still hurts to think about...

You should also mention how Kevin Spacey used his allegations of sexual assault as the perfect time to come out of the closet and how he somehow seemed to think it'd get him off the hook, at least in the court of public opinion. It's especially disgusting considering how long the LGBT+ community has been trying to distance themselves from stereotypes of being rapists and pedophiles.

Amber Heard. Important for not only showing that women can victimize men too, but also that some women lie and use MeToo to their advantage.
That's kinda true. Some women in the industry used this tactic to get attention and sympathy when the true goal of the movement is to create safe working environments for women.
That is definitely the case with Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson.

This is the first that I’ve heard of something that he did. What happened to the guy to put him on a list like this?
The fact it took this long to do something about R. Kelly is Ludacris, we've all been hearing about his scumbaggery for years
He was making people money so they cover it up as long as possible. Look at Jimmy Savile and the BBC covering it up. As long as your making powerful people or companies money they don't give a fck.

Ok, I never ever would've guessed Armie Hammer! 😦 Such a fine aspiring actor with a great reputation; a very friendly, positive, charismatic guy who had a variety of promising roles ahead of him. Obviously, we are all complex human beings and can't look into each other's souls, but while you might expect such news from this or that famous face, the accusations concerning Hammer's violence fantasies + sexual assault came entirely unexpected for me!
FYI: Any reason Amber Heard didn't even get an "honorable" mention in this particular list?!
" fine aspiring actor with great reputation, such a friendly, charismatic, authentic guy, who had a variety of promising roles..."

@@christopherbedford9897 it's not about looks. Cosby and Spacey is old news. But Hammer is unexpected because it's recent. Violent sexual fantasies are not worth ruining a career. Behaviour and actions are obviously different. But just wanting to talk about sick or gross shit between 2 adults shouldn't ruin careers, especially if it is sexual in nature. Your sex feels good and normal, and everyone else's sex is disgusting. That's just how sex works.
Cosby’s scandal troubled me the most.. it’s as if I was watching my own father go down for sick acts..😢

As an adult, it's pretty hard for me to try and look back at some of the most treasured moments in my youth - watching certain favorite films and TV shows and listening to certain favorite songs - the same way I did when I first saw and heard them during my transition from childhood to early adulthood, knowing full well now in my late 30's that the people behind them who had been a driving force for creativity and inspiration to many viewers, listeners, and aspiring artists worldwide - particularly from a young enough age - had SUCH a dark side to them that has just been exposed to the public in recent times. That the entertainment industry has allowed for such figures to make a name for themselves while simultaneously covering up their crimes and forcing silence on those who were scarred for life by these monsters is equally disgusting, as is the fact that we as a society who looked up to these people as icons allowed the blindfolds to be pulled over our eyes and didn't do anything to put an end to their careers and public reputation much earlier.
How are people around the world seeking inspiration supposed to be inspired by these people and their work, and the good brought to the world by them, if more of their "heroes" and "cherished idols" continue to turn out to be monsters in disguise whose crimes to humanity eventually comes to the surface? How are we supposed to enjoy the movies and TV shows we watch and the music we listen to if we continue allowing these kinds of people to enter/infiltrate the world of arts and entertainment, who are capable of creating harm to others while their reputation goes untarnished for long periods, and their victims - perhaps even including their own fans who have dreamt of following the examples set by these figures - are threatened by being told to stay quiet unless their own lives will be threatened? How long must the arts and entertainment industry continue this shady practice before it realizes the level of harm it's doing to itself and the public?
You have to try to separate the art from the person. Obviously I wouldn't want to support or give money to anyone who abuses or exploits anyone but you can't erase history. I can still enjoy Picasso paintings even though he was a pedo by today's standards. I think you can still enjoy an old r Kelly song, just don't buy any of his albums or give him your money, and as long as everyone understands he is a predator who does not deserve a comeback. It would be great if legally he had to give a portion of his royalties to victims of abuse. It's all pretty complicated.

@@laniokami1730 Not saying it's a good kink, but people have different fetishes that many do not actively act on... It's just more talk. Aside from statements, he hasn't shown that he's actually acted on such claims, other than sexual fantasy, that to me, looks reciprocated...
You don't have such an in-depth conversation with someone on that subject, unless said individual has reciprocated.
Anecdotal, I know a person who loves "race play"... They're the most nicest person in the world and would never live their life with such beliefs, but in the bedroom, their kink comes out.
@@erauprcwa Okay. I never reached this kinda depth in any relationship i had, so it never really crossed my mind that the women may be okay with it or even be into it. I just remember when reading his comments that i felt super stressed out and in someway personally treatened.
Also: Gloria Allred dropped the woman's case because she refused to sign a penalty of perjury order. In other words, if found that she was lying about the abuse, she would go to jail. The investigation was also dropped by the LAPD. Also, being someone who extensively studied Psychology, and seeing his sensitive and thoughtful answers in so many interviews, he doesn't appear to fit the profile of an abuser. Especially after the beautiful, gentle portrayal of the love interest of Timothee Chalamet's character in CMBYN, and all of the other great movies he acted in, and all of the press he did where he seems so funny, kind, and together, I have to say I am a little heartbroken. I hope he can come back from this.
Amazing video watch mojo of ending career scandal that ended celebrities jobs, fantastic job. Maybe some of these celebrities can make a comeback or not.
I was a huge fan of Matt Lauer as a kid. I like him so much, for Christmas my mother actually got in touch with a someone who worked with him and told them how much of a fan I was for Lauer and NBC night news host Brian Williams. They sent a Today show hat, a Today show book with a short message from Lauer and personal signed photos from both Lauer and Williams. Williams was later removed as head anchor of Nightly news because he lied about being in a helicopter that had taken fire in Afghanistan I think.
I, like many, was shocked about Lauer his firing and removal from NBC and was heartbreaking, seeing someone who I idolize get removed in a snap. I’m also sad that my mothers hard work was ruined.
Today this day I’m split on if it was right to fire him, but I could just be still in denial and still in a state of shock. Matt Lauer and Brian Williams were the only famous people who I actually wanted autographes from, and I guess that’s why I’m still shocked. Theses happened about 3 years later after that Christmas when they were both removed. I sometimes fell i jinxed them, but I also know it’s there own doing. Still, to this day, I’ve never wanted any celebrity autograph again to avoid the disappointment that might come of them going down for the wrong reason.
I’m honestly surprised that Vince McMahon isn’t on the list lol
So Charlie Sheen is not winning?
Tiger Blood!
I thought of Dan Castellaneta (Cosby's Thurday night rival for a year or two) as my ideal TV dad .
I love Bill O’Reilly’s speaking voice, though.
Edit: though in that no spin news part, he looks unrecognizable.
Went to the comments to see if anyone else was as shocked by his appearance in that as I was, he looked like was 90 yrs old
He has since denied the accusations, but he said he was told at the time that it was cheaper to settle and make them go away than to drag out and fight it. As far as the legal process goes, that much is true. He did say that if he knew how it would end up, he would have fought it anyway.
Make of that what you will.
What happened in 2017? All allegations/scandals appeared that year
a celebrity career is very fragile but there is no help for evil
this is the first top 10 list I watched without an "honourable mention"
6:36 - Are you sure that is Bill O'Reilly??????......Damn, his appearance changed dramatically. I would never have known it was him. What the hell happened? That just isn't normal. Maybe it was just the hair and make-up department at FOX. If so, my hat is off to them.
Why didn’t y’all say the wildest part of the text messages from Arnie hammer? He’s having cannibalistic fantasies.
Seriously, no OJ Simpson? He went from the silly guy on Naked Gun, too nice to be The Terminator, to cold blooded murderer and psychopath. And it's only gotten worse over the years.
Sad that Bill Cosby did what he did (I grew up with Cosby show - he was funny)
I’m surprised Victor Salva didn’t make the list. Unfortunately, despite the vile and horrific shit he did, he still managed to make a come back.
I think because most people doesn't care about the director of the movies theyre watching
Who?
@@richardvinsen2385 Director of Clownhouse and the jeepers creepers movies.
Bill Cosby def hurt the most, I loved the Cosby show and I can’t watch it anymore without thinking of how he is off screen 😢
During African American Pride month, every February, his poster is no longer on the wall of the school hallway.
The Bill Cosby one makes me sad. I grew up watching "The Cosby Show". It's weird but I feelike we all were tricked or something.
Smollet's one pissed me off. Had such a huge crush on him and like the Judge said, there are people that have experienced ACTUAL hate crimes and thanks to him many people might find them sus. Shame on him. Spacey's one didn't just infuriate me but saddened me as a long time fan of his. And the worst part is that many other celebrities that are revered and loved by us may also be predators in disguise.
That famous French actor.... Juicy Smollet.
Looks like Kevin Spacey is already getting a comeback. No - I don't think any of these people deserve a comeback.
Lol Roseanne literally just made a joke that was not even about race lol
Ian Watkins and Gary Glitter Should've Been on this List
along with Jimmy Savile
Bill O’Reilly looks completely different in that podcast clip 😳
Yeah he aged terribly and prematurely in a short time.
I had to rewind the clip. He looks so bad
They should form a band called Charly Rose and the Furious Masterbators.
Takes so little to break a reputation
Bring back the pudding pop
Man those things were freaking awesome!
Is Armie Hammer still going to make that wonderful baking soda?
We gotta get you saying "women" right. Just pronounce it like it's spelled "wimin" and you'll hit it right on the head. Both vowels make the exact same sound. ♥️
the stephen collins scandal was kind of a grey hour imo. the wife was in a bitter divorce battle and was trying to get money out of him and recorded private therapy sessions releasing that. had that not happened, we wouldn't have known that he had relations with minors (not sure how young though). i'm shocked that he even admitted that he was with minors.
Can't wait to see the Fallout of Amber Heard.
Me too. Too soon though. She might find some venue to return.
@@nosuchthing8 and there are still people who actually believe her.
@@annafowdy very few
@@annafowdy manhaters believe her
Amber Turd is just a huge pos! The fact that people still believe her is disgusting! Justice For Men! They can be victims of domestic violence too!
As someone who loves his music (and still has them in my phone) R. Kelly's downfall still shocks me. To think he would beat his wife and assault helpless, innocent women in one minute then get up on stage and sing to win awards and admiration. He should never get out of jail. The same goes for Harvey Weinstein aka the Warthog of Hell. Bill Cosby should be sent back to Fulsom.
I still don't think Armie Hamer deserved to be canceled. His only crime was being into kink.
