This came on my TV while I was pooping in the bathroom and then I suddenly heard my channel name! Thank you for using my videos and for the shoutout, you are too kind :)
Agree with the 1. And 2.! That first drop last row and that launch on powder keg. Helps that powder keg has those amazing restraints that allow you to get great floater.
Thats such a cool video idea. Everyone ranks coasters in a park, but individual elements. Kinda makes me wanna do something like this on my home park. ^^
When I was 13, down by Silver Dollar City, I remember being able to see Wildfire’s drop from the condos I was staying at. It was a really cool thing to be able to see , and I had fun riding it too
For me Time Traveler is something else. Like you said, your body cannot prepare for it. Like doing spins in an airplane for the first time, the ground spins so fast your mind can barely comprehend what's happening, I get that same feeling on time traveler, and love it!
I went to the last midnight madness yesterday and clenched the back row on the last train before Time Traveler closed for the fireworks, an amazing experience dropping out of the station while looking sideways towards all the lights in the trees at the Time Traveler entrance. Everything in this park gives incredible nightrides.
Thanks for the tip about row 7&8 on TT in a previous video. Rode it back in March was blown away by the drop! The double barrel on OR is pretty crazy considering you are hauling through the layout and then crawl through that part.
There’s a silver dollar city 95 foot tall loop 95 minutes compilation. Park. Pride. Seriously, insane park-enthusiast interaction/relationship. Ting ting ting up in my rankings
While you can't plan for it, riding outlaw run in the rain is great. It seems to run smoother than dry (though not as smooth as the ibox rides) and faster. The rain also hits your face making it hard to keep your eyes open adding to the experience.
I was on the inaugural crew for Time Traveler. With how grouping needed to be down stairs, management wanted us to assign rows without requests. After riding it during testing, I knew the back car was something special and knew fellow enthusiasts would want to ride in the back so I talked management into letting guests ask for rows and its been around ever since
This and your by the numbers/prime ride time series are probably your best ideas yet. I would love to see an element ranking (maybe even more than 15) for Cedar Point, Kings Island, Carowinds, Kings Dominion, SFGA, SFMM, Hershey Park, Dollywood....
Outlaw Run running square wheels? I've never found it rough overall by any means. Sure it has some patches, but wow that's harsh. I would put OR's wave turn higher due to its sustained air throughout, but I agree Time Traveler's drop out of the station is the best element of any coaster at the park. I also agree OR's best element is the first drop
I love twisted cutback hills. They look cool offride and they ride well. I especially like them when the middle section has a much higher elevation than the rest of the element.
I went to silver dollar city last week at the time I am writing this. Was able to get on everything but wildfire and powder keg because wildfire was down for the day and when I was in line for powder keg someone dropped their phone and went to get it. time traveler was awesome I got to ride in every row and loved it. thunderation was fun but kind of rough when i went but still one of the great mine train coaster. I was able to get one outlaw run once even Tho there was a 5-minute wait. I wanted to get on time traveler again. But that first drop and barrel roll finale was awesome. but the loop, first drop, the second launch, and the switch back hill were so great on time traveler. I could do that ride all day. and I got on fire in the hole twice because it was it's last year and it had no wait and I'm really sad to see it go but I can't wait to see what it becomes! so yeah go to silver dollar city
I also really like the section of track on podwerkeg right before the lift hill where the train is hauling and turning quite agressively with no track banking.
Row 7 TT drop is insane, but idk if I’d put it number 1. The launch on Powder Keg definitely isn’t better than any of the elements on ORun to me, but I understand having it that high. Personally my favorite element at SDC is the TT drop row 7, ORun drop back row, or the ORun twisted hill. Love all those elements. Also love the two ejectors hills and the hills on Fire In The Hole (honestly my favorite airtime moments in the park simply by how it caught me so off guard lol)
Time Traveler was my first coaster of 2021. I rode it in the back. Was a great way to begin the year. I would put the double Helix on Thunderation higher. Also I love Outlaw Run way more than time Traveler. But I put that up more to personal taste.
If you’re there for two days, I’d recommend doing the Marvel Cave tour (it’s free and it leaves from inside the main gift shop building). But if you’re there for just one day I’d say skip it and concentrate on the rides and the park atmosphere.
Time Traveler's roll is straight enough for one to argue it is a zero g roll, but curved enough for one to argue it is a corkscrew, so it's a corked roll.
i agree with your top 5, maybe just in a different order. But it's hard to deny Time Traveler's first drop in the back car from the top spot. There's nothing like it!
I’m actually in the middle of a trip here, right now. My first ride was time traveler, and I got row 7, it is definitely the best element in the park, and it’s not even close.
Silver Dollar City is my favorite park and I visit each year... usually in the fall because it's gorgeous. I always tell my daughter if I win the lottery I'm going to buy Powder Keg and have them put it in my backyard lol. It may not be the fastest, or the tallest, or the most intense... but it's just an all-around fun coaster with great Air Time elements!
Love the list. Awesome having a list for one of my home parks pop up. The time traveler first drop is amazing. For me the added anxiety I feel really helps it out too. Just watching other people disappear into oblivion and not having the lift hill to psyche yourself up and prepare does alt for me. Only thing I really would differ on is the powder keg first hill after the launch. I've had rises in the back on that thing where the air time is just ridiculous. It feels more intense than a guga first drop to me, despite being shorter. Idk. Maybe I'm crazy. But the more I ride powder keg the more I like it. I remeber buzz saw falls opening as a kid, and when it got changed to powder keg I didn't know what to think. The first year's I rode it I thought it was average. And most people would say it's average. But honestly I have more fun on it than I do outlaw run. And that's not a knock on outlaw run, I just really love that silly cobbled together layout.
Just a heads up coming from your q&a make sure to not forget to make the list of ranking your favorite conversions I'm really looking forward to it if you are going to make it.
Just went to Silver Dollar City a couple of weeks ago for the first time. 100% agree the best element is the back seat drop of Time Traveler. I would like a by the numbers for SDC and Dollywood. I am curious what the comparisons would be between their top coasters.
Magic Mountain i did something similar where i took all the coasters, picked their best element, and ranked them that way. Knotts is definitely one i can do in this format tho
Outlaw Run might be my favorite coaster especially at night but I was in extreme pain on my leg after riding it 2-3 times in a row my last time there. More pain than T3. It's gotten a bit rough.
I can't agree more on numbers 1 and 2, they are my favorite as well. I'm a sucker for zero G rolls, so I'd have Time Traveler's a little higher & the helix on Thunderation has to be on the list.
Went here for an ACE event and even if it rained half the day and powder keg wasn’t open till like mid afternoon I still loved the park. Also, PLEASE get a night ride on Outlaw Run, trust me you will not be disappointed
I personally think the final barrell roll on Outlaw Run is what keeps me from really enjoying the ride. I find the restraints to be really painful as you go through the last slow barrell roll. I hope not all RMCs are like this, this is the only one I've rode so far. I am excited for Steel Vengancethis summer, but I think it may hurt my legs too much. Either way I am very excited, and it will be great.
With SDC and DW being owned by the same company I think it depends on LRs uptime compared to before retrack if OR gets the same treatment. From what i've seen thus far it does still have downtime, mostly from that launch. Wood moves a lot more than steel, it causes the launch to misalign or just fail to engage. What it really needs is a lift hill. I know that takes away of the concept but it is what causes most of the downtime.
Time Traveler looks awesome, but I think Ride to Happiness will outdo it as the better extreme spinner. It has some elements more reminiscent of an Intamin launcher, a jojo roll, some extreme airtime moments, and this is all while spinning. It looks awesome minus the name
@@DoswarePictures it’s a very slow in-line twist immediately out of the station. Copperhead Strike and Hydra the Revenge have them. They’re ultimate hang time moments
@@DoswarePictures SPOILER WARNING! Kärnan's heartline roll (probably the closest thing to a twist into a station that I am aware of) does not have a special name AFAIK.
Have you gotten a night ride on Outlaw Run? I'd say it can definately throw into the ring for the claim of being the best drop in the world just because of the abyss from the lack of lighting. Also Marvel Cave isn't talked about enough on coaster channels, of theme park shows I've done (not that that's a lot, I'm generally "go go go" in terms of riding coasters and tend to skip shows. But natural wonders certainly fascinate me. And yes it counts as a show because of everything involved in it), Marvel Cave easily takes the #1 spot for shows.
Facing straight down on the first drop of time traveler on the 3rd cart is also insane anything other than that and the last rows isn’t nearly as good though especially when going down backwards
This came on my TV while I was pooping in the bathroom and then I suddenly heard my channel name!

Not for me, typically it’s Wheel of Fortune.
Time Traveler’s station drop is my second favorite drop on a coaster currently behind X2’s first drop.
3:21 there is also one on Steve (not the outer bank, it’s after the double up which is after the drop off the mid course)
The headchop drop?
Time Traveler’s first drop was manufactured by a factory in Yonkers.
