@Original T Same. It was the most beautiful concept Lamborghini has ever done (with the most beautiful ever made: the Elemento). The Asterion was my first and only purchase.
No mention of the Peugeot Onyx? It was that crazy super car with a copper body and the interior made of recycled materials. I remember when I saw that on Top Gear, I fell in love. Probably my favorite concept supercar ever.
More sales, more money; ~100,000 Golfs' sold in the last 3 years = 3,750 Billion @ Average MSRP ~$37,500 ~8,000 Lamborghini sold in last 3 years = 2,400 Billion @ Average MSRP~$300,000 If they did end up making a VW Supercar based on the Huracan or R8 with a 4.0 V8 mild-hybrid system, they would still lose sales for Lamborghini because they make more money with "after purchase" sales like servicing, interest, and other with Lamborghini. So a better play would be to make a more affordable entry Lamborghini GT car with that V8 from URUS, which will increase sales like crazy cuz I'd buy that sh*t yesterday! Lamborghini needs to make a GT car to compete with the Ferrari Roma and make it starting MSRP of ~$150k. Ouuuuuuu sign me up!
Because they never made a sport car before it's not their tradition, Volkswagen means people's car which usually focused on small daily car instead of like expensive sport car

Around 2007-2010, there was a Cadillac coupe prototype that James May test drove (that he said he really enjoyed) on Top Gear that apparently had a V16 engine, and was supposed to harken back to Cadillac's glory days of being world renown for simply having *massive* displacement front-engine highway cruisers with class leading luxury interiors. I really liked the look and sound of it, and I wish they'd at least recycled either the body design or the V16 engine from the project in some way.
