I just sold my Panamera turbo and I am looking to buy a (somewhat older) supercar, somewhere in the price range of 70-80k. But I have no idea what to buy. I already had a 991, and Loved it. But looking for something else. And for guys saying a corvette C8: LOVE the car, but I am from Europe and prices start at 90thousand euros here. That’s almost 100k. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
try american sportscar (modern ones). You wouldn't be dissappointed. C7 Grand Sport, Shelby GT350, Camaro ZL1 (1LE maybe even). You'll be much surprised in the level of engagement, feedback and overall vehicle dynamics. Bought GT350 with a huge premium (hi import tax), but it's worth it and still one of the fastest car under 100k. Besides 992 GT3 and 991 RS versions Idk what you can probably buy from EU even under 200k that would give you good drive experience. Idk what would be even remotely comparable both on feeling AND speed on road course below 100k (well except the hardcore Lotus maybe).
supercars cost like a whole house anyways tho, soo.. ,-, plus i would rather live in a house rather than a car honestly. /: like for that lambo is 119k in the video, it’s isn’t even cheap.. that’s a house cost plus rent, tax’s, bills, ect. (aka. more) there’s way much too it. imagine losing your job and u can’t even afford it anymore cuz of the high costing of supercars where it gets so expensive to fix it as well. daily vs project
Take a look at the 997 911 Porsche made from 2009-2012. Higher mileage cars can be had for less than 60,000 and they are very reliable and durable cars. They have 385 hp stock but a full exhaust and tune yields 440+ hp and high 11’s in the qtr mile, sub 4 sec 0-60. Very fast and hold their value extremely well fi taken care of
I’m going with the Viper. He’s right, they’re a steal at the prices they’re going for. They have the legend, culture, and they are a great high horsepower platform. There will never be another car like it so it will go up in value.
Now this and its hybrid variant, the LC500h are by far the most reliable of them all. The new Supra 3.0s are among the fastest of those that are not everywhere (so may qualify as exotic in their own way) but their BMW drive trains may not be very reliable.
Audi. That V8 does sound beautiful but that V10 just goes like nothing can touch it, & with a little bit of "Black Magic" it is un-beatable for the money. Neither is "The wrong choice".
I really want the C8 Corvette but I live in an apartment and I have no garage and I just can’t imagine a life where I have to park that beautiful car outside where everyone can smack it with their door and idiots can sharpen their house keys on it. It’s just too expensive. Guys like me need sleepers.
If any of you are searching for a sportive car at around 20k, look up 2005-2008 Porsche Boxsters, they’re beautiful for 20k and they have a flat 6. There’s also cheaper ones from 1999 for like 12k
Great video, thank you for the info. I own a 2015 Z06 Z07 convertible and love it and am now looking to add an R8 What year would say is the best to look at

@Damian Chiliński I mean regular people will just see Porsche and be amazed
@Damian Chiliński haha yeah it’s definitely not like that in the US 😂 GTs are almost as common as Corollas. Camaros are also common but not as much as mustangs because most people don’t like how they look and it has shit visibility lol but can’t deny it has great performance.
To do this video this guy just looked at the cheapest cars from exotic brands.
Want a real good deal? The Maserati Granturismo, the V8 of the Ferrari 458 for 20k...
I'd pay less than $50k and get a nice Corvette or Cayman. A used R8 is a pretty good deal though, too.
These affordable options are a game changer.👌👌
I just sold my Panamera turbo and I am looking to buy a (somewhat older) supercar, somewhere in the price range of 70-80k. But I have no idea what to buy.
I already had a 991, and Loved it. But looking for something else. And for guys saying a corvette C8: LOVE the car, but I am from Europe and prices start at 90thousand euros here. That’s almost 100k. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Maybe a Jaguar f type? Aston Martin rapide? Audi rs7?
The Aston Martin virage was really nice too and good examples are 60-70
try american sportscar (modern ones).
Nissan GT-R
Notable Mention would be the Maserati Gran Turismo MC
The McLaren won't get to 200mph in 5 seconds lol
if 100k is affordable then i must be jeff bezos bro
What about an early 2010's Lotus Evora? That car looks like a $200,000 car at only around $40,000
What if dodge makes a hybrid turbocharged v10 that gets so much horsepower that you’ll need a stable
for DB9, you could the same performance stats in a first gen CTS-V for about 20k
snagged a 2011 porsche 911 turbo s for $107K on 30K miles. absolute steal, it’s crapping all over some modern supercars too
Bro forgot the aurelio supercar💀
cool choice of cars bro
supercars cost like a whole house anyways tho, soo.. ,-,
plus i would rather live in a house rather than a car honestly.
I’m surprise you didn’t mention any of the jdm sports or super cars like: Lc500 or Honda NSX
Why don’t you link the website to buy these cars or something
I didn't know I can afford $120k
That Ferrari 360 Looks Like A Turd Compared To My LB Silhouette Works R35, Mustang Mach 1, Bronco Raptor And Ferrari 488 Pista
Very fast and hold their value extremely well fi taken care of
I have a new Vette. Took 18 months but paid MSRP. Love the car.
I’m going with the Viper. He’s right, they’re a steal at the prices they’re going for. They have the legend, culture, and they are a great high horsepower platform. There will never be another car like it so it will go up in value.
100% agree! If I had a 3rd garage stall I’d grab one but alas… ;-; also edit since your comment is 6 months old, so far you’re right! Up in value
I would like to take a Viper.!!
Pure V10🔥
I have a first gen and love it. All generations of viper are super great. I've never driven one I didn't like.

me : in real life right ?
me : ..... in real life right ...?
I would take Lexus LC500
Now this and its hybrid variant, the LC500h are by far the most reliable of them all. The new Supra 3.0s are among the fastest of those that are not everywhere (so may qualify as exotic in their own way) but their BMW drive trains may not be very reliable.
“The ugly but incredible performance of the senna” dude the senna is one of my dream cars:(
Please tell me I'm not the only car nerd that LOL'd when he said the MP4-12C hits 200 miles in 5 seconds lol!
An early 2000s civic/corolla now costs more than a mercedes or bmw from the same Era. Reason being, the maintenance.
Audi. That V8 does sound beautiful but that V10 just goes like nothing can touch it, & with a little bit of "Black Magic" it is un-beatable for the money. Neither is "The wrong choice".
I think there's no car that can go to compete with the c8 corvette...... for it's bang for buck.......
Btw.....Corvette fan boy 💪
I really want the C8 Corvette but I live in an apartment and I have no garage and I just can’t imagine a life where I have to park that beautiful car outside where everyone can smack it with their door and idiots can sharpen their house keys on it. It’s just too expensive. Guys like me need sleepers.
If any of you are searching for a sportive car at around 20k, look up 2005-2008 Porsche Boxsters, they’re beautiful for 20k and they have a flat 6.
There’s also cheaper ones from 1999 for like 12k
Guys I think I’m a bit drunk cuz all my friends and family says mclaren senna looks bad but I love how it looks
Can we get a fast manual car. Make a video on it
Great video, thank you for the info. I own a 2015 Z06 Z07 convertible and love it and am now looking to add an R8 What year would say is the best to look at
After owning my dream car for over 3 years now, a 2014 Shelby GT500 with 835hp, I wouldn't trade it for anything on this list.
i8 is only one on this list I wouldn't even bother with and love the auto trans in the Viper
Or, you could just buy an sc300 for 5, then you put 10 grand into making it a GTE, and manual swap it.
And gap these supercars by a boat length
Also if you want a V8 1st gen R8, just buy a B6 or b7 S4 with the same engine and
A 6speed.
Plus: 4 dOoRs FoR mOrE...
The GE is different enough from the GTE that it's actually better to just swap the engine for a GTE. Or just get the SC400 and add a few performance mods to it. And a manual swap if you want.
Owner of a 1993 sc400 here🙌v8 will gap these cars on stock motor with 10k for turbo kit and brand new cd009 trans. With 500-600whp being a reliable setup
good look finding an sc300
For 3k my RX8 makes 200hp from 1.3L, revs to 9500, and gets the same fuel mileage as a Dodge Viper! Best car ever made!
My dad got an MP4, ripped it everywhere, so nice and fast!
No mentions of the GTR??
The R8 V-10 is my all-time favorite car.
The new Lotus Emira is cool.
meh - just get a c6 corvette - superish car you can afford to work on
The C5 is way cheaper though.
@@damilolaakanni yeah but it's ugly 😅
@@royjaber571 why?
@@MIIIVideo like it feels like it's stuck in the nineties. The interior is bland af
@@royjaber571 so it's too simple, not ugly? Sounds like you'd prefer Japanese cars with 3 buttons for everything or at least the later C5 which is a bit more true to a muscle car
Good luck getting these insured.
GT-R35
09-11 (60k USD)
12-15 (72k-80k USD)
0-60 3.2 Seconds (Or less)
Quarter Mile 11.7 (09)/11.2 (14)
Stock for Stock
12-15 GTR beats every car on the list besides, MP4 12-C and pretty close with the C8
None of these are cheap today in 2022. Now in 2018 there was a big list of cheap cars until mid 2020 when they all sky rocketed in price. 1) Ferrari 360 were around $60k 2) Porsche 996 TT were around $45k 3) gallardos were $80k 4) Aston Martin v8 vantage $35k 5) Audi R8 v8 $60k 6) saw a MP4C go for $85k. All those cars no in 2022 have appreciated 40% which I do not understand. When new version of all those are only 20% for brand new or a year or two old. The used cars market is ridiculously stupid right now.
the bmw i8 looks very cool exterior AND interior ( 4 seats ) plus it is at around 70k € , also the doors are pretty cools
When you get 1 mil+ subs, you forget what "affordable" is to the average person 🤣😂
I agree with the Audi choice....but the v8 has carbon buildup issues and the AC compressor repairs are engine out adventures. The V10 sound is epic compared to the V8....regardless of exhaust setup
Afford as in the price tag? Because these are crazy expensive in terms of insurance, service or whenever something breaks down.
I would say that even Nissan GTR's would be a good cheaper super car to buy as well due to their relibility, speed and their prices as well
Well, the new Lotus will be on this list when it comes out. 70k for the v6 and around 60k for the mercedes 4 cylinder
Do y’all remember wen vipers were 20k😂😂😢
I have a screenshot of a Gen1 for $16k……….from 7yrs ago 😭
@@michaelparkhurst-porter4045 that’s cool
great choices but the I8 i wouldn't consider it an exotic . Its looks can be on that edge but the performance is on the low side.
I’d rather shave a 67 Mustang than any car on this list (the 67 mustang and the 2005 ford get 40 are my dream cars
Title: 8 Cheapest Supercars You CAN AFFORD
Me with 350 bucks on my bank acc: Well ... I dont think so ...
I like how they say 8 of these are "cheap" when a good majority of them are fetching close to $90K or over $100K. Cmon guys 🤦🏿♂️ yall can do better than this. The only GOOD car that would be CLOSE to bein cheap is the SRT-10 Viper. Everythin else, you better do a ppp loan to getchu one. Or make a solid 6 figures. Smh.
I’d get none of these as they are not only expensive but maintenance would make money non existent in your life. Lexus LC500 ftw!
says cheep --- also him "only 100k"
Remember when Modenas were $50k, Gallardos for $60k…. Vipers for $35k?……… NSX for $20k 👀
? When was that?
And, it doesn’t seem that long ago!
@@pastperformance2285 Are you guys joking or what?
Yep! I remember! I purchased my 04 viper with only 19k miles for 40k in 2018. I also bought an Evora for 26k during that same time. Not anymore.. price have nearly doubled.. oh my viper was modified also
Pass me what you're smoking.
my dad have a ferrari laferrari mclaren p1 bugatti veyron and bmw m3
Honorable mention was valid but what bout the corvette c12 Calloway 😳
Rip,no nsx 😢
