I’m moving away from Slate also. Interested to see what you will use to replace the drum reverb and the clap reverb as well as what you will use to replace the tape emulation you have on the kick and bass group
I'm thinking about buying the Virtual Mix Rack and Verb Suite outright. They sell them at Thomann for 149 EURO. If I was smart I could have done that years ago and saved a bunch of money.
To be honest bro you can do it all with the stuff in your DAW. Some vst are nice to have but you really don't need anything special to make great music. In Organika I think I used Diva and Omnishphere as 3rd party synths.
There aren't any rules, and Dilby may use it for all kinds of things, but I use tantra on synths. Start with an unfiltered saw doing chords in a simple rhythmic pattern. Then play with tantra presets to get some awesome rhythms with dynamic filters and other effects. You can get a free trial to see how it works for you. IIRC, the trial will output a burst of white noise every 90s to encourage you to buy the license. If you only need a short loop, you could freeze/flatten the audio and use the resulting audio clip.
My Alternatives:
Decapitator (Distortion) - Softtube saturation knob / Ruina / CamelCrusher / IVGI
Echoboy (Delay) - Valhalla Super Massive / Sixth Sample Deelay
Pro L2 (Limiter) - Limiter N°6 / D16 Frontier / LoudMax / Analog Obsession YALA
Chorus - Acon Digital Multiply / Tal Chorus LX
Phaser - Blue Cat Flanger/Phaser
Loudness Meter - Youlean Loudness Meter
Spectrum Analyzer - Spectrum Analyzer Plugin
Compressor - TDR Kotelnikov / MJUC JR. / Analog Obsession LALA
EQ - TDR Nova / Melda MDynamicEQ / PTEq-X
Osciloscope - s(M)exoscopes / Oscarizor
Multi purpose - Voxengo Free plugins / kilohearts Free plugins / Analog Obsession / Melda Production MFree
Love your honesty in this one if its doesnt work out like you planned.
Keeping it authentic, good content ❤
Amazing content! I have one question dilby, When you mastered your tracks, you set the ceiling in 0,00? I always tought the ceiling should be in 0,10.
Maxhead isn't free but it's under $20 and is the best limiter I have used.

Which vst do you recommend to make tracks like Organika? Btw, nice vocals

@@dilbydj I see, still not sure 100%
about my synthesis to an specific style, sometimes I think producers usually buy samples or presets.
Very informative video ! In which track do you usually use Tantra plugin? Drums or synths or Bass ? Or any other ?

But Dilby is right - don't pay full price. I paid $29 on a sale - the discounts can be really deep sometimes
Thank you Jason!
Hopefully you would have compared something with Psp VintageWarmer
What happened to your love of Slate digital, youve always sworn by their plug ins
The plugins are great but the subscription pricing model is crazy. In the past 7 years I spent over 1000 Euro on them and don't own them.
Thank you!!!
Be interested in why you have decided to cancel your Slate Digital subscription?

@@dilbydj yeah! I did the same with Adobe CC, the whole subscription model is nightmare, great for developers, but a joke for consumers.
@@dilbydjAnd you don't use them as much otherwise you'd be stuck in paying them whatever they want. Good for you!
