    Another interesting guest. And since I'm Swedish, I appreciate you talking about Sweden and Finland. Our two countries are deeply intertwined and interdependent, no least when it comes to matters of security and defence. Finland is leading the way, though, having dealt with Russia in their unique way for the last 100 years.

      @@johnlund2036 The US did not provoke Russia's invasion of Ukraine, that was Russian imperialism. Russia needs the Donbas industrial region, Ukrainian shipyards, Ukrainian steelworks to build a blue water navy. They also need Ukraine's population in order to compete with the US and China. These ARE definitive imperialistic ambitions. Russian State run and State directed information warfare is working very hard globally to distract, divide, and demoralize any opposition to its aims.

    • @johnlund2036
      @johnlund2036 Месяц назад

      @@mitchrichards1532 Actually, the USA wanted a proxy war with Russia, that was a long term strategy from the 1990s. That was the reason for the NATO expansion to Russia’s borders and the coup in 2014 in which they changed the Ukrainian government and proceeded to build up the military. The USA leaders hoped to defeat Russia and potentially break it up so they would have access to the resources in Ukraine and a defeated Russia. They have said that repeatedly. They want to do the same thing to China. Russia and China are the USA’s main obstacles to the USA’s world domination, at least in the USA’s leader’s opinion.
