Thank you for explaining you recommended about 2 fills for GelX!! i’ve been wondering how i’m going to approach this bc at some point the gel x tip is going to be gone and then you’ll just have gel on the nail. lol now i know just do a couple fills and then a new set! i didn’t really want to do full sets every 3 weeks and have to soak off!
You’re welcome! Yes I do my best to work smarter not harder. So far 2 fills ins is definitely max! But I usually do a new set of the client has waited 4-5 weeks for a fill in. Because the nail is so grown out it would take longer and more product to fill than it would to just do a new set
I just came across your channel last week and it has become my go to learn gel x nails. Theres not much professional channels that focus on gel x nail applications. Thanks for your helpful tips, I am learning and getting so much inspiration. Thank you for showing gel x nails are not just DIY but professionally offered services.
I am confused because it calls it a soak off ? Or just a foundation for Gel to stick? But she is using it as a gel to fill the nails? Also how do you clean the brushes ?
It’s just a preference thing. It’s a lot quicker in my opinion and the sanding band wears down a lot faster too. I do use a sanding band sometimes for it depends on how much filing needs to be done. Most of my fills now, I actually don’t finish file as much anymore because I do a more flush gel application so it doesn’t need any filing!
You’re amazing! I’ve been learning to do my own nails for about 4-5 months now. Gel x and builder gel has been much easier for me than acrylic.
Aww thank you! I’m so happy you’re learning 😍😍
Your work and professionalism are amazing! Thanks so much ❤for

I have always wondered about overlays on gel x. I would usually take them all off everytime they grow out. I will definitely try this!! Thank you ❤
You’re so welcome! I started doing them on myself first to see how it lasted and it does really well!

How many full cover tip extension sets do we get out of 15ml base gel bottle? Thanks
your accent is so cute 💖

Gelish Foundation is just the name for that brand’s soak off - gel polish base coat. It’s not a “soft gel” or a “hard gel”
Hi i have a question did you do your own design
Can you add the Amazon link for the gooseneck lamp?
If you go to my Amazon storefront link below it’s under GelX necessities!😌
How come you went in with a safety bit to refine other than a sanding band to smooth the surface since it’s gel and way softer than acrylic
