Thank you all for being here and helping my channel grow. Always feel free to ask me any questions here🫶🏼💋
Have you ever tried doing acrylic on top of a gel x set , not for a full though just a regular acrylic maybe like and ombré ?
What grit nail bit are u using?
Hey what top coat are you using in that pink bottle ?
Talk yo ish! Because I randomly came across this video and baby! I've NEVER seen a video like this. You did an amazing job. I've learned so much from this 1 short video (trust me I've watched a lot of nail video's) I'm subbing.
Thank you so much! Welcome💗💗
Absolutely super talented ❤
Right? So clean, some good tips too
Yes I agree she just put me on game
Facts same ❤❤❤❤
great video! love the addition of chrome powder at the end, pretty much creating your own gel liner. That alone saved me money and opened a world of possibilities! I appreciate you sharing your skills!
Thank you so much! I’m happy this helped you out🫶🏼💋
Very interesting video your tutor is short and to the point love the nails❤
When that thin brush came out I yellled yassssssss!!!!!🎉
I was watching this video and went to blow the dust off 🌬 🤣 that’s not how videos work 😆
Just started doing my nails this will definitely help me in my journey ❤❤
I feel inspired. I stumbled upon this video randomly and let me say this was just perfect 👍 Great job explaining!!!
Thank you. very helpful. I liked the nude recommendation and the simple star trick. Keep shining!
WOW. Best gel x video I've seen... Instant sub.
Thank u so much! Welcome 💋
Girl where have you been? I’m definitely about to try this I only use gel x too and only use 3 in one gel for a few coats on top and bam and way cheaper and better for your nails! You did that sis!
I did not know this was possible. Has me rethinking my routine. I always felt like it was too much work to do on myself just to soak it off. But this would make it worthwhile
Yes! It’s definitely a time saver and it really does help grow out your natural nails too!
Everyone has already said it, beautiful work and set. Subbed!
You can also flip the hand upside down to let gravity pull a natural apex
Omg your work is amazing 😍 and so clean 😍
Thank you so much!!❤️
Cant wait to try this!
Absolutely beautiful 😍😍
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!💅🏽🎉💕
Love this channel. Cant find what products you use. Love to watch this. I was doing sip powder and made my nails weak and thin. Do you have a website or amazon list
You should also try mshare refill rubber base or their refill bottle bulider gel. You can get 250 ml for around 20 dollars and thier products are really good.
Be careful they have different consistencies for their builder gel so i recommend getting the 30 ml bottle first to make sure that you like the consistency.
For some reason on RUclips won't let me post the website Aliexpress
Owww thank you! I’ve been testing out a lot of different ones. But the one I used in this video is freaking sold out now and I loveee it. But off definitely look for this one, I refill bottle makes the most sense for me!
Hi love! Quick question, how do you remove that afterwards? can you soak it off? Or do you have to file it off completely
Beautiful ♥️ tfs!
Thank you! 😊
I've had the longest retention using this method along with a good method for the first set. I would be on my 3rd fill in but the nail extension has moved too far up on my nail to the point where it is almost gone! Thanks for the tips
You’re so welcome! That’s awesome!! Usually around the 3rd sometimes 4th fill is when you need to do a removal for sure!
Thank you for sharing ❤
No problem 😊
Which gelish product is the one that you use for like a builder gel is it the foundation flex or the other one
New subbie! You do a great job girl 🎉❤
Thanks for subbing! And thanks so much🫶🏼💗
Hi
What is the difference between gel x and builder gel, please? Awesome tut.
Thank you! GelX is a full well soft gel tip. Builder gel is a thick gel that’s applied onto the natural nail or you can apply after glueing on tips
What's the name of the gel color? It's pretty.
What type of file do u use to take the polish off
Thank you for this video! Lovely work! I’ve just purchased the Gel X builder especially for Infils! Is there a reason you don’t use that?
You’re welcome! And mainly because of price. I go through so much of it and it’s easier for me to use the one I do now!
Hi new subscriber from Virginia
Welcome!!
What do you use to wipe off the sticky layer? I’ve always left it on, but it attracts dust and leads to a not so smooth finish sometimes. Is it just with a dry cotton ball or
❤
Sometimes I have an issue where the builder gel peels off from the tip of the nail. Any advice on that? I file/buff the surface of the tip and add dehydrator and primer before the builder gel 😢
It honestly could be your primer or that you need to be putting a gel base coat before you go in with the builder gel. If you don’t have a base down it can cause lifting!
Can you tell me what lamp you are using to flash cure
Yes, I have the lamp listed in my Amazon store front under gel X necessities it’s called the Zoelass lamp. The link to my Amazon storefront is in the description.💓
What bit is that? I do not get that smooth of a removal
I just use a medium grit safety bit to remove the gel polish and to smooth out the remaining gel, and then I go in with a medium grit standing band to prep the nail
@@Baddlilthingz
Pls share link to bits bcuz I never mine to be this smooth too
Nvm I saw the link in your storefront, will be ordering
How many fills can you do like this before replacing the entire nail?
I usually judge it based on how the clients nails are doing. Check for lifting cracks or breakage. If more than 2 nails need to be repaired that’s when I recommend a new set!
The rubber base gel is out of stock....any recommendations for it ?
I KNOWW🥹 I left a review hoping they will restock. The Gelish foundation is great! But I do have some other gels listed in my Amazon storefront that I use. But honestly any rubberbase will work! The same brand still has they’re smaller bottle available on Amazon. The Fzanest rubber base in a pink bottle!
@@Baddlilthingz thank u so much queen
BEAUTIFUL!! NEW SUBBIE HERE!💕💕
Welcome!! Thanks for being here💗
What gel x glue u used
I use the same gel that I use to fill them in ☺️
How much would you charge for this
This set was $70!
Wait I thought this was not possible
It most certainly iss 🥰 works like a charm!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I just did my Gel X Nails on Sunday and was wondering how a fill would work and I ran across this video!!!!!! You’re such a life saver! Her nails look amazing!
I have watched NUMEROUS nail videos, you can say I’m an avid watcher of ALL things regarding 💅🏾 and I just happened to come across this video! I’m absolutely blown away that you do NO finish filing and they come out that smooth and flawless! Also, I can’t believe you don’t use primer, WHAT?!?😱
Anyway, needless to say I have Subscribed and will be binging your videos immediately! Do you have an IG account and an Amazon Storefront? I guess I should check your description box and see, right?
Well, I just wanted to say I can’t wait to continue watching your content and your amazing work!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your words. Yes I do have an IG it’s Baddlilthingz and also my storefront is linked in all my videos!💋
Yes, I found the info. in your description box, but Thank You! I’ll be checking out both! 😉
The ph bond dehydrator is essentially a primer. Primers just change the ph of the natural nail to the same as the gel that way they bond together. It is good you dont use a primer with that dehydrator because it can jack up your nailbeds with excessive use :]
Thank you for telling me this! I’ve always loved using it but never knew that’s how it worked. Literally been doing nails for 4 years😭 I don’t even think my instructor said that in school
Love seeing a perfectionist. This was so satisfying to watch.
Thank you so much !!! I couldn't figure out if it was possible to do fillings on Gel X,many people whose trainer told me it was impossible. The proof with your video! I learned a lot from this video ❤
You’re so welcome! Glad I could help. I can’t believe they told you it was impossible 😭 Work smarter not harder!!
I’m a teenager who wants to start a nail business tysm for this IN-DEPTH tutorial rly appreciate it❤
I couldn’t take my eyes away from the customer beautiful natural nails beneath the gel X😅
I hardly ever go to the salon to get my nails done because when they stared growing the cuticle started hooking on my hair and clothes. I can’t stand it and I just want it off. I prefer regular nail polish. This is so beautiful 😍
I love the Gelish base coat, but why tf is it more than double the cost of the colors or the top coats? I can't figure it out. Smh. Thank you for sharing a dupe for it!
omg this is perfection. youre so good at what you do
Thank you so much!!🫶🏼💗
Hi I’ve been watching your Channel and I’m hoping to successfully start my own nail channel! 😊
I’m nervous but also extremely excited, hearing my own voice is hard to get used to on a camera I love watching nail vlogs and also mastered the Builder Gel technique and using an E-file and so on 🥰 Wish me luck! 😅❤
Soo beautiful!!! You are so talenteddd❤ yesterday I just did my first gel x nails ...i followed all.your tips and instructions and omgoshhhh😳😳😳 they look so great!! Professional looking😮...they look better than when I used to go to the salons to get acrylic!!no more chunky uneven nails😢😢😢😢yesss🎉🎉🎉
Im a fan❤ thank you for showing us
Thank you so much! I’m happy I got to help you out 💗
Is this gel the same as hard gel??? Where are you located? How can I book you?
No it’s a slightly different consistency. And unfortunately my books are closed to new clients right now💗
@@Baddlilthingz awww okay. Do you have to do a new set every time instead of a fill?? Like with the artificial nail?
So,this was a fill on full coverage gel x tip set.? Also would you mind sharing about what you would charge for a service exactly like this? I am a nail tech in Alabama and I am just curious as to what other techs are charging and maybe what state you’re in? Great video and thanks!
New follower , this video came up out of the blue lol and let me tell you is the best that shows us so much in a short period of time. I have always asked my self where to start with hard gel nails. Thank you thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
Awesome! Thank you so much💗💗
Truly enjoyed this and other videos you’ve made. How many fills can you do on gelx? As often as regular tips?
this video came at the perfect time-literally explained everything wrong with what i was doing and how to do it correctly. thank you!!
You’re so welcome! I’m glad I could help out!!
would you mind sharing what flash curing lamp youre using? thank you!
Great tips! Beautiful colors & design. Thank you!!!
Thanks so much🫶🏼
I have salt n pepper natural curly hair I hardly have a wash day and I'm scared to go to the salon
So, is Gelish flex builder gel? OR you are using the bottle only for the brush?
Beautiful set🌸 Have you experienced any lifting/chipping with the gel polish after putting it on the gel that you wiped the inhibition layer off of?
Thank you! And no I have not. Some of them you don’t have to wipe, if it’s the Gelish foundation there’s no need to wipe it off. But if you DONT wipe the sticky layer off of builder gel then it will chip
Got it I will definitely try that. I want to get my time down & I hate finish filing (that’s why I only do gel x) so anything I can do to make the process faster/easier I’m willing to try🙂
Do you have a video where you examined and pointed out how to do a new set?
Thank you for this and explaining so well 👏🏻🌟🙏🏻🇬🇧
Great video! So very helpful!
The top coat + chrome powder is so brilliant!!
Hii, what length and shape are you using?
What pinky pearl polish did you use on your own nails in the video?
I just used a nudist pink gel polish and put white chrome powder over the top!
in your experience, what is the longest length you recommend accepting to do? im thinking about how it will compare, strength wise to acrylics. thanks in advance❣
i love your videos! i have been trying to find an artist that does nails similar to how i do them on myself, since i have been thinking about starting my own private studio after graduating college. im so glad i found you since i really want to do gelx only!
Thank you💓 and honestly when it comes to length it really depends person to person and also how they use their hands. For instance what they do for work. I have some clients who get really long nails and are fine. But majority of my clients wear active length!
Also, I don’t recommend doing long nails on someone who has very short or small nail beds. Especially if they are already damaged. I personally don’t ever want to be held responsible for the damage of someone’s nails. So I’d always be carful of that!
@@Baddlilthingz thank you so much for the advice!
i’m struggling with getting my gelx to grow out super seamless like yours do you have any tips? 😁
Prep is key! And also make sure you are using a flexible gel, like a rubber base consistency 🫶🏼 Gelish foundation is Mr go to! But the one I showed in the freeze stamp is great too! You can always check out my Amazon storefront for product recommendations 💋
thank you for sharing your tips ! I didn’t know we can keep the sorry I don’t know the name but what you left on the nail ! great video
That’s what I did exactly on my client who came with the Gel x set. Still holding on, still strong and solid 💪
Yes! That’s awesome 💗
why cant I find a nail tech like heeerrrr????
Super pretty and love the nude too!😊
Thank you so much🫶🏼
Dumb question but did you use a base coat before you applied the nude polish or does the rubber base count as a base coat? Love the video!
Not dumb! No I didn’t use a regular gel base. Just the rubber base!
Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to buy all the products and do my nails ❤
GREAT video! thank you for sharing!
I needed this. Thank you. Going to offer only Gel X until I can master acrylic and designs .. I will definitely be subbing. Ik you have more Gems 💎🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow. No filing. You are the bomb. Great work
Thank you!🫶🏼
So glad this came up in my feed. Thank you. You make it look doable.
You’re welcome! Thank you💓
For some reason I can’t keep my nails from lifting days after I apply them! Am I doing something wrong? They don’t even grow out before they start lifting
That was satisfying .. and educational 💯
Thank youu💋
Thank you!! ❤
I loved this…you slayed those nails💅🔥
Thanks so much💗
Love this tut! it's indepth and goes through the process step by step. I also love that you properly prep the cuticle and even wash and scrub down the nails after the prep!! It makes for a beautiful result and thank you for the vid! :D
Thank you so much! And yes lol I can’t deal with all the dust. I’m constantly wiping down and cleaning the nails throughout the service!
Doing the lords work. Ty for tjese tips. ❤
Im into growing my nails out. I have been doing "gelx" nails since 2019 using gel glue (for crystals) and clear full cover nails. I fill in every two weeks with hard or soft gel. On the underside, i initially fill in the space from my free edge to the tip of the full cover nail with free edge colored HARDGEL. When my real free edge grows to the desired length, i cut the nail down . I then take off the full cover and maintain my natural nails with silk wraps using bondini glue or gel
Wow so useful. I love it thanks. Just started using Gel-X on myself & wondered how the fill would work. Thanks again😊
If you don’t mind me asking. How much do you charge for gel-x filing? Thank you for sharing. Like on this set !
Now how did the algorithm know I needed this 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Just for youu💋💋
I love thisss. So much better than soaking every time! Thank you! 🩷
What brand gelx do you use?
I don’t really use 1 brand. Most of my tips are from Amazon and Enail couture!
Great video thank you
You’re welcome 💗
I just found your channel. You are so talented. Beautiful nails.
Thank you so much!
If you turn the hand over gravity will help pull the product to the middle creating a beautiful natural apex
Can I clean the cuticle area then just gel over the whole nail? Or do I have to remove the old color? On my self not a client? 😅😊
Would biab work the same for infil purposes?
Love this video. Very informative❤
I didn't realise I could be infilling these! I would just do a new set every 2 weeks lol! I never find I need to file when I apply a builder layer to thicken up the gel x nail. Wonder what people are doing to need to file the flat of the nail. Maybe depends on the consistency of the gel
Gorgeous thanks for sharing ❤️
Thank you! Of course💗
