Why were so many people upset over the jacket Glennis wore??? Since when is a (supposed) "talent" show performance judged or decided on a contestants' outfit??? In Holland we can say and do what ever we want, also on tv. With much emotions I can understand that you forget about the American prudishness.
Rock Roll We May be stuck with some of the (as you call it) “prudish” limitations but Glennis seems to feel as though she has to come into the U.S. to actually be a successful international star. Your country couldn’t cut it. So whatever shortcomings that we may have we are “the place” that could make or break Glennis. Isn’t that what this whole attempt and opportunity for Glennis is really about?
Somebody got offended? I think you've read my message wrong. I just explained why she was saying these words on tv. It is a big culture difference and like i said with all the sudden emotions, you can easily forget the local manners and you go back to your basic manners. And especially for us Dutch people, we are famous for respecting the local manners and always behave like a good guest. Thats why Glennis is sincerely sorry for what she said, because we don't like to disrespect our host.

This competition is cheezy AF but a good excuse to launch a huge money making career in the world’s biggest influential music market. She will sell albums and concert tickets. Possibly the biggest rival to Adele and who many believe will surpass her.
Glennis Grace is way better than Adele, she's as good as Whitney Houston was or Mariah Carey (both of which are better than Adele).

She speaks dutch everyday like me. Our dutch tv has lots of English n American in it. In our daily life we use fuck only to express something unexpected. Because we see in the movies. Totaly unaware of the exact meaning of it ..in other countrys. because we use a diffrent word for fuck. She really did this totally unintended. A dutch person can really laugh about this, n understand what exactly happened. She needed to be more conscious. I think she learned the hard way. doing these small things right shows some respect but believe me ..shes an angel.

So let me start by saying I think she’s fabulous BUT........she’s released multiple albums that are on iTunes so I’m struggling to see why she keeps calling this a “Break”.....she does concerts and so forth so I mean does she need it? No

She is making her lifetime dream come true that was on hold for years because of her son.. she went viral with her tribute to whitney at the ladies of soul concert last year.. finally she got the international attention.. but don't forget the Netherlands is a very small country.. concerts are with the ladies of soul 2 times a year.. she had her own 1 concert in 2012.. and had a guestapperence years back at the toppers concert.. she is still struggling in the Netherlands.. performing in nightclubs, small venues, streetfestivals, corporate party's to make a living for her self and her son.. we have singers that are more famous and have international fame

She did say she got her first real succes at age 34. She is not pretending to be a nobody. She even spoke about it during the first audition, that she was famous in The Netherlands, but they cut that out as AGT wants a fairytale story. It is in the end sort of reality tv, which is always partly fake. Even the Jury gets told how to react!! It's that fake. Her fabulous singing though, THAT is not fake!!

With this I personally want to add that Whitney has never been compared to any other singer for me. She is too unique for that. Fortunately, we now have a singer in our midst who can make us happy again in her own way. Both singers are just unique, so never too compare with each other.
