Imperial Guard is on pursued of Taldeer, but it was never stated why. When Alexander beats the Eldar there is an info that he send her alive (drugged and in a straight jacket) to Inqusition. My bet was that chase her not becouse she screw over Sturnn (no panzy eldar git can screw da best general in Dawn of War series (well maybe on par with Vance Fuckmothering Stubbs that is)!), but becouse she had the information on the location of Necron Tomb worlds.
Raven Strategist I know they do that, I played the howl series (duh). But finishing the game with other races shows realy why they were realy there. And in Imperial Guard campaign we know that Inqusition had some busines with Taldeer (and not with Imperium in general, which she should if she realy did messed up Cadian 412th on Lorn V, WHICH SHE DID NOT!). This is how also we know that Gorgutz killed Lord Crull and got his skull - by finishing the game as Chaos.
Every guardsman that falls buys humanity one more day of survival, and with it, the hope that the day after that will be better. No man who toils or falls in service of the Emperor falls in vain.
😂Believe in the gospel Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ shed his blood and died for the sins of the world and he was buried and rose again from the dead three days later. For Jesus Christ God almighty and the flesh and if you believe in the gospel you are spiritually reborn into the family of God.
You know what I love about this cutscene ? Varnus' blindness... And Sturnn's sadness. It may seem crazy at first. This ending is really 40k-like. The Imperial Guard zerg-rushed, the Spaces Marines killed everyone, the Imperium win, yay, everyone is happy ! Except no. Varnus, he is a blood knight. He lives to make war, and he tries to compliment Sturnn by thanking his regiment for all of their death. All he knew was war. All he will know is war. Sturnn, on the contrary, he is just a man... He saw his soldiers die for an endless war. He heard all of that "FOR THE EMPEROR" and "KILL THE ENNEMY" crap over and over again... Now he genuily cares about his men, and about the Guard. People keep remembering the Spaces Marines as gigantic heroes of the Empire. They forget that while Sturnn was standing on that mountain, giving a epic hidden "fuck you" to Varnus, dozens of thousands of guardsmen must have already died, on far planets, fighting traitors or xenos, with fear in their hearth and weapon in their hand... We mock the Guard. We say they are useless, they carry a flashlight and are cowards, meat for tyrannids and future cultists for Chaos... They are, in fact, the paladins of Humanity. Anonymous knights in sour armor. They will never be great. Most of them will die horribly in a gruesome way, being tortured, eaten, executed for treason or just finished by hunger and sickness... But as Sturnn say : "We die... *standing*"
You know nothing about Imperium of man... They fight for survive not for funny or pleasure and " Varnus' blindness..."- Varnus is very wise and honorable man, so please return to warcraft...
Tom Carter Varnus is blind to Sturnn's speech, matey. Plus I never said they ever fought because it is funny or pleasing. All I meant is that Varnus is a badass chaplain who is so devoted to the Emperor that sometimes, if you listen to his quotes, he almost look like he is going to cry of rage. Sturnn, on the contrary, has a calm, old, grizzled voice. Sturnn only does his job and try to save as much of his soldiers as he can. Varnus, on the contrary, fight because it is his goal. So yes, Varnus is totally blind toward Sturnn. He tries to please him by commemorating his warmonging and strategical skills, even if Sturnn really don't care. And you are not forced to be insulting. Seriously, you could just have a normal discussion without threatening me or lowering me.
TomZanovich if this was canon ending but it is not. Eldar won on lorn V and Sturnn fell for her tricks, sacrificed hundreds of guardsmen to protect eldar at all cost. Varnus would try to kill them and not to cooperate with them so dont tell me "Varnus is blind" Varnus was created for war and protect humanity He has my respect as all Space marines. Maybe you are blind when you not see the truth...
Tom Carter 1st : The Eldar victory is only canon for Only War. A piece of wargear in Retribution claim Sturnn won. Sturnn fall into Squat territory, along with Ollanius Pius and other great unsung heroes. 2nd : Sturnn never sacrificed men for the Eldars. They died killing the Necrons. Plus don't go crying about Hundred. While Sturnn was taking one step at least a hundred of guardsmen already died accros the universe. 3rd : You don't get it. I said, and keep up, because it is hard, that Varnus was blind about Sturnn. About bloody Sturnn. But I understand. You are a Space Marine at hearth deep fanboy. The Spaces Marines, huge zealots, who are either complete slaves to the Codex, criminals who kills innocent human for any reasons or nice guys, I must admit. But in all cases, they are what ? Huge killing machines only made to kill, kill, kill, kill, and then what ? Only kill and kill. The Guardsmen are normal men. They fight. They fight with fear on their hearth. They fight with that natural fear that makes them human. Individual life does not exist in the Imperium, but united they stand, and without any recognition, they just die in the millions everyday. For every Space Marine who die, in a tiny battle, hundred of thousands dies to protect planets. THAT is the real strength of the Imperial Guard. If you want to jack off to the ultra smurfs then it is your problem, but don't ever mock the Guard, who are the greatest anonymous paladins of that crapsack world who is the Imperium.
TomZanovich Yeah -_- i know this wargears from dow 2- one holy banner of the blood ravens was lost on kronus when enemies attacked on ravens stronghold and was fired orbital bombardment on this stronghold= that never happened. Castellum Incoruptus was never destroyed. And for interest look to wiki- winter assault canon ending ;) AND when the guard falls Space marines come to the battlefield. I actually like the Blood Ravens because knowledge is power guard it well. And i don't mock the guard are you kidding me ?? They are Hammer of the Emperor, Protectors of millions worlds!!!
Its not Easy Being a simple Guardsmen in this universe. But with people like Sturnn around and saying this simple line, It makes you proud of your job even if it is a shit one at times.
anyone can go to war in a suit of power armour whilst wielding a fully automatic armour piercing grenade launcher, but it takes a real man to go war in the 40k equivalent of a t-shirt armed with a glorified flashlight
+Field Marshal Fry It just happens that those fully automatic armour piercing grenade launcher guys were kids that grew up on death worlds fighting things that would kill with a single drop of their poison. :)
Field Marshal Fry Just one regiment of the imperial guard (there are a few more to be sure). But go over to lexicanum and count how many Astartes chapters are there. On a note, catachan fighters are not 10-14 years old like an astartes-to-be recruit.
Ollanius Pius is a symbol of the Imperial Guard. In fact he shouldn't have been named. He should have been known as the Unknown Guardsman, who died saving the Emperor from certain death, because the symbolism would have been even greater. Guardsmens die as unknown heroes, in unsung war, in unsung battles, on unsung planets. They die for the Imperium, yet they aren't truly recognized as heroes, unlike the Astartes. The guardsmen's are the badass everyday human fighting for mankind, but just because they aren't genetically enhanced super soldiers, just because they are physically weaker than the rest, they aren't considered as heroes. Its disgusting. Guardsmens are the ones keeping the line; Remove the IG and the Marines will hold for what, 2 months? People's should start giving the Guards the credits they deserve.
the ender destruction nah, that would detract from the story of ollanius pius. It’s much better that that he was just some guy with balls bigger than all the smurfs put together, that singlehandedly defied the arch traitor and ensured the emperors victory.
"At the end of the day, though he's been ferried through hell on a ship that's ten thousand years old to some godforsaken, war-torn rock; though he deployed from high orbit with nothing but a grav chute; though he is one of ten million men and women snatched from his homeworld to fight a war he barely understands; though he has been given a weapon that fires small suns and may annihilate him as he fires because the knowledge of how it functions has been lost; though his company is supported by tractor-tanks that run on anything you can burn; though he wages war against a devouring hivemind, ravenous demons and hordes of hyper-advanced aliens with strange technologies and sorceries he never dreamed existed; no one will remember his sacrifice, there will be no records of his deeds, no glorious parades in his honor, and no remembrance of his name. All he will earn is a shallow, unmarked grave on a forgotten world untold lightyears from home. Yet for all this thankless sacrifice a Guardsman is a man, just like you. He has no millennia-old genetic engineering, no prophetic leader, no miracles of faith. He has his lasgun, his orders, and those beside him. He is the Imperial Guard. And he will hold the line."
Calum Deighton Ah, the true moral victors of the Dark Crusade, doomed because of the nefarious schemes of Azariah Kyras, damn his wretched heretic hide.
***** Anyone can go to war with an automatic grenade launcher and a suit of power armor. It actually means something when you overcome the horrors of the War Eternal with normal men and women, tanks and outdated flak jackets and lasrifles.
+SinDawg030 No man in my Regiment is expendable. No man is left behind. I stand in front of them in the froward line, with them. Fighting the enemy, as there lives are worth more than mine. My men are more to me than any glory or promotion. Even War Master. My men are mine. And there worth more than me. I die for them.
IG > SM. Why? IG are humans with leather jackets and lasguns, they know they're cannon fodder, and yet they proudly and bravely face the same horrors Space Marines do.
PetersaberHD In many senses the Imperial Guard is much more admirable than the Space Marines. Just ordinary men and women. It would be like, if an alien power invaded the Earth, the defense of this planet (I am from Argentina) would essentially rest on the shoulders of the americans, the british, the chinese and the russians; with the rest of world powers, the germans, the japanese, the french, the pakistanis, the brazilians and hindus essentially following them. And if USA, UK, Russia and China lost, this world would be fucking doomed. That would be the Imperial Guard; armies of ordinary people from different cultures and nations fighting to protect humanity itself.
PetersaberHD The Imperial Guards is the Emperors hammer, they are there to win wars for the Imperium. The Space Marine is the Emperors surgical knife, they are there to win decision making battle to turn the tide of the war.
True WA canonical ending stated below: Gorgutz killed Crull and possesses Crull's skull until Elliphas retrieves it in DC, but Gorgutz was forced to retreat and leave Lorn V by the guardsmen, however Gorgutz was unable to reach the Titan as Taldeer arrived at the crash site first. Taldeer escapes from Lorn V to continue her mission to stymie the awakening Necrons, much to the surprise of the Imperial Guard, who send General Lucas Alexander to question her involvement in the Lorn V conflict, thus hunting her to Kronus. According to the book "Dawn of War: Tempest", Captain Gabriel Angelos arrives at Lorn V to find that the Imperial Guard were victorious and had begun to repair the Titan Dominatus. Therefore a combo win for both the Imperial of Man & Craft World of Elder!!
Wow apparently General Sturnn is voiced by Paul Dobson (The same guy that voiced Gabriel Angelos and Eliphias ). Damn that's awesome. Outside Dawn Of War he would also be known as the voice actor of Zarbon in the earlier Ocean Dub of DBZ :)
They're not the best or the strongest, but they've never given less than 100% when push comes to shove, and they fight and defeat the same chaos that the Space Marines do - not as super soldiers, but as ordinary humans who believe in what they fight for.
He brushed the feather off his shoulder, he didn't care much about the symbolism in it, maybe it meant he's destined for angelhood. He took another step forward, the blood pouring out of his wound. His sight started flickering as he reminisced about his best friend and seeing him smile after a victory . He urged another step forward, holding on to that memory was the one thing keeping him on his feet. He inhaled deeply as he slumped down on to his knees, the memory, the memory, the memory... he fell down and as he lied there, the darkness had almost completely taken its hold. He looked at the feather thinking ''Maybe I'll see him again''. He exhaled and was no more.
Also, space marines were originally normal people... usually criminals. The toughest kind of men, only they can survive the enhancements and hellish training.
It's so... cathartic...or...pleasing, to see an Ultramarine--a chaplain, no less--humble himself before an ordinary human. I guess there actually was something to the blueberries, before they became mary sues.
@@GlitchTechV1 The vast majority of Marines still hold to the Imperial Truth. That said, they're not the dogmatic atheists of 30k. Many Chapters, Ultramarines included, do not believe the Emperor to be a God, but still treat with him with religious fervor.
That icon of the Cadian Gate on the Guardsmen's shoulders, knowing that now, it lies broken is just... so gut wrenching. The thought brings tears to my eyes.
Inquisitor_Wulf Apparently in the book “Dawn if War: Tempest” The guard successfully retrieves and repairs the titan. So the this ending is most likely the cannon one and the eldar just escaped off screen.
1:04 I love that final shot. The guards standing firm before the Ultramarines. They are pathetic little men with flashlights and plastic standing before giants in power armor with the best gear the imperium can give. And they are proud. For its is THEIR courage that has won the day.
"A guardsman's life is to die. My job has always been to show them where they can do so. I am not afraid to spend them, but I never waste men." Lord General Castor and Sturn are the two most awesome characters in the whole Dawn of War series.
I remember getting to the end of the IG campaign and when it said Mission Success I said "It was, but at what cost?" I swear the way our guy talks and the music playing makes this sound more like a Phyric Victory, maybe in the end that's what it really was
This ending is great, sad even though they won. Well done in my opinion, embodying the Imperial Guard's awesome yet sad truth. And to this IAmTheStig guy, why are you going around everything Imperial Guard and trying to trash them? You must be a Space Marine fanboy, if I'm reading your hostility correctly.
I just feel that this last sentence: We die standing, is just so full of emotions, and memories, it's just incredible. The voice actor, and the writer of this must be a genius. We die standing. Beautiful!
I come back to this every few years. Beautiful mix of music and cinematic. The author of the video has made edits like this of most-every cutscene, each with fitting music. BigDickCheney, if you're around, ever, you're fantastic man, thank you for these.
Frankly thanks to research I've done on the Lexicon and what I have seen of General Sturnn in Winter Assault he is one of the main officers in the Imperium I respect the most
I love how Sturnn sound somehow sad while talking to the Chaplain... That's like he knew that the sacrifice of his soldiers, mere soldiers fighting with fear in their hearth, would always be forgotten were the space marines are being remembered as the real warriors...
I like to thing that everyone standing was in absoloute awe of Sturnn during this speech not just the Guardsman, but the Space Marines as well, and that he left a profound impact on them.
almost the eldar apparently escape alive offscrene but Sturnn gets the titan as wargear in retribution mentions sturnn leading his men to sucessfully reclaim the titan. and yea Gorgutz does get crulls skull
"You call that a wound? Men, TO ME!" I don't know what in thing in the whole whole 40k universe is more badass than Sturnn. When you have Ultramarines looking up to you, you know that the 412th is by far the best of the IG. I salute thee. Here's to Sturnn's hopeful return in Dawn of War II!
Even when faced with Orks, Necrons, and Chaos itself, stabbed in the back by Eldar, Sturnn and the Cadian 412th come out on top. They are the reason I only play IG. Table Top and DoW alike. God, this video gives me goosebumps. No doubt your best work.
Hellen Abernus I would give a fuck but I have balls of ceramite, like every son of Emperor. Anyway, thanks from bump kingofsapi, didnt notice the answer until now.
I think the moment when the guardsmen and space marines are just standing there sharing each other's honoured company, two different forces united in kinship in their defense of humanity in that frozen wasteland, it's so beautiful...
Excellent video, with one of the best lines in my opinion of all games(We Die Standing), and the background music couldn't be better...The morale of this IG crew will never be the same after that speech
if lets say if ALL imperial Gaurds versus all Imperial SpaceMarine (both worship the Emperor) were to go fight together i was told Imperial Gaurds will Win
Sanicjack and Land Raider's don't count? sure not as much powerfull as baneblades but.. Land Raider's + Whirlwind's = gg especially since part of the known baneblades are just crappy reproduction's of the real ones so ahm...yeah
This is one of my favorite DoW videos. I really like his last part of the speech. "It is what we do best, we die standing." Sturnn was a great man, he will be missed. For the Immortal Emperor!
I just love the sentences... "And all of the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen in that we stand the line and die fighting..." And my favourite of all: "Its what we do best... we die standing" Its really amazing how some words can raise the mood of a person so fast.
Oh boy! This was great! I can't wait for the epic story telling and voice acting that awaits us in Dark Crusade and Soulstorm! "TEH CODEX ASTARTES CALL DIS MANUVER STHEEL RHEN!" 0_o "WE R SPEHS MAHREENS! WE R DA EMPRAHS FURA!"
The amount of arguments over what's canon and what's not in this comment section is insane why can't we all just appreciate that REGULAR HUMANS won that entire winter assault campaign. No extra organs, no flashy power armor, just a bunch of dudes with a couple plates of armor and lasguns. Regardless if it's the canon one or not (you should always go by the maker of the lores answer and not an outside source. Relics lore is what you need here.) This is the most badass ending for the entire game because the might of the imperial guard and their faith in the emperor let them fight chaos, orks, and even necrons, and win the day.
I would follow this man into the warp and beyond.
You would be joined by many, many, many others, myself included.
...and my axe!
Screw this, I'm going to stick with the Imperial Navy.
Ivan Lee hello my fellow brother, shall we travel with the guard sometime in the future, and fight with those who could be brothers?
Same here
This is the canon ending.
STURN DID NOT DIE

Hyltonial I DoW cannon surrounding this game is such a mess.
But why did my man Sturnn have to die😢
Adding the music makes this scene so much more powerful.
Damocles178 For real? In that case he's probably my favourite voice actor of all time.
+Damocles178 Paul and his two brothers never disappoint :)
I'm hard pressed to find big titles of which only one and not one of the others are in.
I want that guys voice i'd talk like this all the time
They're not the best or the strongest, but they've never given less than 100% when push comes to shove, and they fight and defeat the same chaos that the Space Marines do - not as super soldiers, but as ordinary humans who believe in what they fight for.
I might be wrong, but isn't space marines sort of like clones from the clone wars but without the child phase?
***** Just read that.. Er.. What was that from a book? A fanfiction? From space marine point of view? :P
Slend Nah, I just got inspired and wrote from an imperial guard's perspective. They don't really have anything else in life than their comrades :/
I mean Ultramarines are supposed to be fine with working with normal humans since they literally run an empire themselves.
@@AdeptKing Do the ultramarines still hold the imperial truth or have the fallen into religious dogma like the rest of the imperium?
@@GlitchTechV1 The vast majority of Marines still hold to the Imperial Truth. That said, they're not the dogmatic atheists of 30k. Many Chapters, Ultramarines included, do not believe the Emperor to be a God, but still treat with him with religious fervor.
That icon of the Cadian Gate on the Guardsmen's shoulders, knowing that now, it lies broken is just... so gut wrenching. The thought brings tears to my eyes.
It shouldn’t, for the planet broke before the Guard did.
That single tear.....
This may not be the cannon ending but it's MY cannon ending is anyone else with me? The emperor protects
Inquisitor_Wulf Apparently in the book “Dawn if War: Tempest” The guard successfully retrieves and repairs the titan. So the this ending is most likely the cannon one and the eldar just escaped off screen.
1:04
I love that final shot. The guards standing firm before the Ultramarines.
They are pathetic little men with flashlights and plastic standing before giants in power armor with the best gear the imperium can give.
And they are proud. For its is THEIR courage that has won the day.
The final words of a father to his men who actually cared about what many would mock as "expendable cannon fodder."
0:41 It is the BAAAAAAAYNBLAAAAADE!!!!
+The Myon listen to the song
The Myon i have faced more fearsome tanks!
I'm building a 412th Cadian regiment army and am adopting "We Die Standing" as their official battlecry.
No game invokes emotion like a Warhammer 40k game.
Until DoW 3 came
@@jiahajime5815 that almost rhymes
@@jiahajime5815 dow 3 invoked hate
I shed a tear every time I hear Sturnn's speech. Very few things can do this.
Fuck me. I love this game so much.
"A guardsman's life is to die. My job has always been to show them where they can do so. I am not afraid to spend them, but I never waste men."
Lord General Castor and Sturn are the two most awesome characters in the whole Dawn of War series.
Salute to the best Imperial guard general, we miss you. ;_;7
Solar Swallow because even Daemons can see that he would have been a good servant to the ruinos powers of chaos
u sure? u just want to make everyone ur host ain't ya want that?
;_;7
Q A Q
O/
If only Sturnn had decided to return home before Abbaddon showed up...
Sturnn + Creed = GG Chaos.
GW would still screw them over.
Heretek finally somebody who thinks Like me , carry on guardsman , carry on ...
This Space Marine is far too small!
He's an Ultrasmurf. Makes sense to me.
I just feel that this last sentence: We die standing, is just so full of emotions, and memories, it's just incredible. The voice actor, and the writer of this must be a genius. We die standing. Beautiful!
I was 14 when I found this video, and its still awesome after all these years.
I come back to this every few years. Beautiful mix of music and cinematic. The author of the video has made edits like this of most-every cutscene, each with fitting music. BigDickCheney, if you're around, ever, you're fantastic man, thank you for these.
Seems like the end of an awesome movie. There needs to be a movie about Winter Assault.
C.S Goto..........
Frankly thanks to research I've done on the Lexicon and what I have seen of General Sturnn in Winter Assault he is one of the main officers in the Imperium I respect the most
No Guardsmen every marches into battle alone. For we all walk in his immortal shadow...
Imperial Guards for the Emperor we die standing
"It is our destiny to rule the universe, just as it is the destiny of the Xeno to pave our way." - Ecclesiarch Lucretius VII
Why are the Guardsmen and Sturnn taller than the Chaplain.....
if you look closely you can see that the guardsmen are actually standing on their giant balls of steel
maybe cuz Space marine got heavy armour
***** Guardsman-to-Space Marine scale is pretty strange on the tabletop as well.
If u look closely, it's a squat
Well Sturnn is taller because he is true grit incarnate
I love how Sturnn sound somehow sad while talking to the Chaplain... That's like he knew that the sacrifice of his soldiers, mere soldiers fighting with fear in their hearth, would always be forgotten were the space marines are being remembered as the real warriors...
I just realised sturrns gigantic balls make him look larger than a space marine
A beautiful scene depicting what the Imperial Guard truly is and how Space Marines respect some of them.
The planet broke before the Guard
i get goosebumps every time i watch this video
i think the music you put into these videos adds so much as well
I like to thing that everyone standing was in absoloute awe of Sturnn during this speech not just the Guardsman, but the Space Marines as well, and that he left a profound impact on them.
We’ll die for the Emperor, or die trying.
THIS ENDING IS CANON
You literally could not have picked a better song. Fucking masterpiece.
These models are not to scale.
He will fight for Humanity, he will even defy the dark gods,he will hold the line and he is but a mere man and will die standing. For The Emperor.
almost the eldar apparently escape alive offscrene but Sturnn gets the titan as wargear in retribution mentions sturnn leading his men to sucessfully reclaim the titan. and yea Gorgutz does get crulls skull
This is the true ending in my head. Such a powerful conclusion to the story. It was incredibly satisfying to beat the campaign.
when that music kicks in 0:30 I get goosebumps as a Prince of warp Id salute this man.
I almost cried. The IG is eternal. I would follow stern to the end of the universe
A terrifyingly appropriate choice of custom music.
Back when the Ultramarines had respect
why i fucking love imperial guard so much?!
Because they hold the line
And because they die fighting
Its what they do best
They die standing
This cutscene made me fall in love with the guard...
"You call that a wound? Men, TO ME!"
I don't know what in thing in the whole whole 40k universe is more badass than Sturnn. When you have Ultramarines looking up to you, you know that the 412th is by far the best of the IG. I salute thee. Here's to Sturnn's hopeful return in Dawn of War II!
Every time i go through Winter Assault, i pick the guard just to see this ending
Sturnn’s voice is just so... sad.
Like any normal man would be after such bloody campaigns
Sturnn's final lines are so emotionnal I left a tear out.
I finished this mission without music and it actually suits it better. A honorful speech but yet, with a dreadful and dark meaning.
Even when faced with Orks, Necrons, and Chaos itself, stabbed in the back by Eldar, Sturnn and the Cadian 412th come out on top. They are the reason I only play IG. Table Top and DoW alike.
God, this video gives me goosebumps. No doubt your best work.
oh my why i cant find any men like him? T_T
Here i am!
Mimir Wise you are not a a men....even you are not a teen boy...
You might need to wait till' the 41st millennium, my good lady. :)
Hellen Abernus I would give a fuck but I have balls of ceramite, like every son of Emperor. Anyway, thanks from bump kingofsapi, didnt notice the answer until now.
*****
Nah man, i have 3 slungs and two hearts, think about that.
I think the moment when the guardsmen and space marines are just standing there sharing each other's honoured company, two different forces united in kinship in their defense of humanity in that frozen wasteland, it's so beautiful...
Afterwards the 412th gets redeployed to the Spinward Front.
Paladin Demo And Sturnn bitch-slapped that traitor Severus into submission with but a gritty glare.
Nice.
They would win by sheer numbers, Imperial Guards are also easier to muster in great numbers, while Spaces Marines just can't.
The SM would literally run out of ammo.
The thing is, Imperial Guard have the tanks, the numbers and the dakka (Ork word for firepower)
also BANEBLADES
Sanicjack and Land Raider's don't count? sure not as much powerfull as baneblades but.. Land Raider's + Whirlwind's = gg especially since part of the known baneblades are just crappy reproduction's of the real ones so ahm...yeah
Lelouch Vi Britannia
Land Raiders are moving fortresses that dream about having the dakka of baneblades
Holy shit is this guy an Ogryn? He's standing at roughly the same height as the Space Marine, that's a commander i'd follow!
Hero General
Music can make or break a game or movie imo. You ALWAYS choose excellent music in your videos.
The music fits well, what is the name of the soundtrack?
it's written in description
This is one of my favorite DoW videos. I really like his last part of the speech. "It is what we do best, we die standing." Sturnn was a great man, he will be missed.
For the Immortal Emperor!
I wish this music was actually in the game.
That is one nice ending. Props to you for recording it.
Cadia Stands o7
Thanx. That is one great ending. Wish there was more like it. Thanx again for this one. =)
Anyone else find it funny that the guardsmen are as tall as the Space Marines in this game?
I just love the sentences...
"And all of the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen in that we stand the line and die fighting..."
And my favourite of all:
"Its what we do best... we die standing"
Its really amazing how some words can raise the mood of a person so fast.
He was the best General of Imperial gaurds ;(
Oh boy! This was great! I can't wait for the epic story telling and voice acting that awaits us in Dark Crusade and Soulstorm!
"TEH CODEX ASTARTES CALL DIS MANUVER STHEEL RHEN!"
0_o
"WE R SPEHS MAHREENS!
"We die standing."
Spoken like a true Cadian
CADIA STANDS!
Pain is temporary, pride is eternal. *Tears* Best of the best.
Dawn of War 3 thinks it's better than this. HAHAHAHAA
The music is great. Doesn't destroy the atmosphere but enhances it. Well done. 5 stars for this one even if it's not original work.
Press "F"
'It is what we do best...We die standing...' That...that was beautiful! *Wipes a tear from his cheek*
I wish they kept the voice actor for Sturnn in the other DoW expansions
damn, its cineastic.. with the background music and that humbled 'ol Sturnn conveying a message.
It makes me wanna cry a little, dang..
i love how the chaplain has the same voice as silverbolt from beast wars. such a noble heroic voice, thanx scott mcneil
this is why winter assault is still my favorite dawn of war story, so much went into it and it shows
I have to say, the music fit perfectly. It actually made the scene kinda touching...
Every single time I hear this it brings a tear to my eye. It's everything I believe in
"It's what we do best: we die standing."
Fracking awesome, man...
