So yeah, he still can beat Frieza without absorb citizen's life. Post-ROF Frieza however, even in his 1st form, claps any Cell's version.
I always love seeing Frieza and Cell together. In the DBZ fillers and even in GT. Something about seeing the biggest villains, in any show, going at it to prove who's the baddest puts a smile on my face.

His real arch-enemies should be Future Trunks for making his life difficult by taking out the androids in his timeline, and Gohan for humiliating and killing him. Frieza was the one who's dignity, belief in his omnipotence and even life was destroyed by Goku.
The irony is there is a near identical scene where Goku and Vegeta bicker over who gets to fight Freeza and Freeza gets bored and fights both of them lol

I don't care if it was not the same cell. He also lost to android #16 and was loosing to trunks but vegeta got in the way. Based on Cell's appearance and personality in all of his forms, i've long thought that Frieza's DNA was the most dominant out of all the characters who Cell was cloned from. Plus Frieza was actually the most powerful being who Dr. Gero gathered DNA from, since the DNA he gathered from Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo was from before they went to Namek.
Fair play it sounds as though this game has so much amazing dialog. A lot more than I was expecting. I was just expecting admittedly a great looking fighting game but with the gameplay centred around a boring story just because the game developers are likely going to want this game to be a hit in the multiplayer world.
