Honestly, after Vegeta was redeemed, they should have brought Raditz and maybe Nappa back to life. Then again, Raditz's Super Saiyan transformation would look just like SS3, which... would definitely cause someone to overestimate him.

The funniest thing here? Is that Freeza doesn't even attempt to repent at all, and HE'S the one who gets free of Hell.
I like to think before Super, he was transferred to Heaven after someone snitched on him, and it's ironically worse than HFIL would ever be.
Like, they actually forcefully convert souls, or torture them with imagery and other programming techniques until the soul breaks and forgets itself. Frieza's willpower is solely the reason he's still himself.

Because in the DBZA universe, Guru caused a grand draught on Namek. And instead of taking responsibility for his actions, he blamed it on the albino Namekians. This caused a mass genocide. He is also the evil aspect of Lord Slug.

That shocked and impressed me. In any other parody with this premise, Frieza probably would’ve been delegated to the local punching bag. But here they made it to where even though he’s a clear second to Cell, he’s still intimidating for being honest to how awful he is.
I absolutely LOVE the way Frieza is portrayed here. Even in Hell, he regrets nothing. He's every bit as psychopathic as he was alive, he knows this and is completely unapologetic about it! I love it!
At least he's not cocooned underneath a tree where there's stuffed animals and fairies constantly throwing parades left and right.... That alone sounds like a nightmare to endure.

Perfect Cell is made up of multiple cities' worth of people. That we call him a he is owed only to the voice; it's no wonder Perfect Cell can identify a gender just by looking, or possibly even by sensing without even seeing.

It's amazing how he immediately got along with Zarbon and Dodoria, despite how he feels about Frieza and the Ginyus.
Coming from episode 7, and having watched these since they first came out, I am ecstatic every time one of these comes out. Not because it's more TFS content (that's a factor but still), not because it's an interesting plotline that I really want to see unfold (again, great reason, but not the biggest), no. It's because every time I hear Freeza's voice, I know Martin is back, and he's doing ok.

Wait wait wait, that makes SENSE. Yamcha is absolutely the Raditz of the Z Crew - Krillin seemed like it at first, but Yamcha gets it so much worse. And Cell genuinely liked Yamcha, though he was still 100% willing to kill him along with everyone else. I could totally see Cell becoming actual friends with a HFIL-chilled Raditz.

Honestly Frieza is the best DBZ, he is evil and he knows it. He is not the type of villain who will try to justify his actions. It is also great that both versions of Frieza are sassy bitches too.
The best thing is Frieza in Dragonball Super was so clearly more similar to TFS Frieza. I’m certain someone somewhere took inspiration.

The fact that Frieza would rather stay bloodthirsty and evil than lie to get out of hell just made too much sense. Plus him and Cell being so nonchalant together almost set them up for a sitcom
Frieza being tortured with happy parades of stuffed animals and such in DBSuper makes so much sense now.
Frieza knows that he is evil and just revels in that fact, it might be why he is such an entertainer villain. He isn’t going to justify himself, he is evil and he doesn’t care that you know it.
At least Frieza gets to be revived twice later in the future. Cell's still stuck down there.

I love how Frieza doesn't give no f**ks. Him, cell, and Vegeta are my favorites. They all express the same mentality when it comes to lack of giving a f**k about anyone or anything.
It's based on the "prison yard" thing. Find the biggest toughest guy, etc. Cell was still coming to terms with everything, so Freiza just didn't give him a chance to challenge the pecking order. Theoretically when Cell comes to terms with everything he still won't challenge Freiza because of that initial confontation.

The original VA, Vegeta 3986, left after the end of DBZA season 1. Lanipator took over for any time the character returned after that, such as in Kai Abridged.

Goku killed Freeza and, with Piccolo's help, Radditz.
Lastly, Super Kami Guru was killed by his people.
Cell might actually get along with Radditz, considering Radditz kidnapped Gohan as a toddler.
The fact that the plot thread of that early joke about Radditz causing a stir in HIFL after dying got wrapped up gives me an ungodly amount of satisfaction. Thank you.
