@@oliverdadema The word you are looking for is *Mainland China* . This is also what most Chinese people use when referring to rest of China when discussing Hong Kong, Macau and/or Taiwan. But you can't just repeatedly say 'I'm leaving China for Hong Kong', because it is simply FACTUALLY WRONG, regardless of various perceptions you or others may have.

Wonderful and informative vlog on the high speed train ride from Shenzhen to Hong Kong. 🚄 Just to let you know that the high speed train service in China is called 'CRH'. My family and I also plan to use this service to catch a flight from Hong Kong back to my home city, so thank you for this video.
I already saw your other vlog going from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, and I commented on that video too. 😄 It sure was a wild ride for you back then. That was when I was new to your channel by the way.
Looking forward to your trip to ShunDe, Foshan. There're so much delicious food. The best Canton cheves live in Shunde. 😊 But just remember that people in Shunde don't think Shunde belongs to Foshan😂

Well, if you really want to know how people call "High Speed Rail" in China, it's "Gao Tie", just like Shinkansan in Japanese. BTW, Shenzhen might be the least cultural city in China because it only has a few decades' history. If you do want to experience the real China, come further inlands next time.
Yes I know... I will be back and create a more exciting Chinese video series. A series where I will actually interact with people and do fun activities... stay tuned!!

I know, and I repeatedly add an info text in the video saying that I know that HK is part of China. The fact is: traveling from Shenzhen to HK gives you a Chinese EXIT STAMP in your passport, meaning you LEFT China. However, HK is still a special administration OF China 😉
@@oliverdadema Come on. You're just playing with words here. You know it, I know it. 😅 Of course, I won't assume an European person would be so uninformed about 'overseas territories' and history of colonialism, and how separate customs/border controls work in the European context, which is very common. Pretending to be uninformed and innocent and using it as an excuse to repeatedly bring up a factual error is not some cool witty thing to do, or worse, deplorable.... You know it full well, but I doubt you'd actually admit this game you're playing here.😒 Claiming to 'leaving' Europe when you only took a train from Paris to London or a bus from Ireland to Northern Ireland is simply dumb statement at best. 😅 Or maybe you're simply less educated than I initially expected. And that is ok.
enjoy the last best moments of the trains in China. just yesterday, the China authority reported that Shenzhen train company has lost 250 millions USD last year they won't be able to maintain so many magnificent and over-engineered facilities soon.

You can buy one kind of SIM card in hongkong. It’s Visitor’s data when you in China could open the ins/FB/whatsapp as usual.
If you buy a data roaming card in Hong Kong for use in China, can still use whatsapp, RUclips etc…

You are not leaving China by going to Hongkong. Hongkong is China, you are still in China.
