First automatic weapon ever was Denmark's first machine gun, called Madsen, which was developed in 1890 and was in service in 1900s. And also there was Italian auto rifle, called Cei-Rigotti and was made in 1890-x, by the time in Red Dead Redemption 2 it already existed. But it was never used in army.

@@BONE_SAW they need to fix the muzzle climb/recoil then because an decent AR has less recoil than a lot of handguns and considering a guy who spends his time shooting shotguns, I'd assume he'd have very good recoil control

One minor gripe on the disclaimer the ar-15 is the civilian variant of the m16 and sometimes if you google the fire rate it gives you the m16s fire rate. The ar-15 is semi auto so it has a much lower fire rate roughly 45-60 rounds a minute
