I will be taking a trip thru OH very soon and will be sure to stop at Gibson's Food Mart & Bakery. Anyone who stands their ground against a liberal arts college who falsely accuses them of racism is worthy of my business and praise. The college had an opportunity to teach the rest of the student body that shoplifting is unacceptable. Instead, they sided with the shoplifters and tried to run the family owned business into the ground. The college spent millions on litigation and lost. Money is no object to this college. They have an endless supply of it. It's morals, common sense and decency that Oberlin College, their staff, faculty and many students have in short supply.
I'm looking forward to enjoying some delicious treats at Gibson's Food Mart & Bakery

You can’t have unlimited rights when your rights are infringing on the rights of others. First Amendment freedom of speech isn’t limitless right guaranteed. Defamation is certainly not protected under the First Amendment, so smearing someone and depriving his right of reputation with the supposed freedom of speech is already violating the intention of freedom of speech. You have rights only as long as your rights don’t hurt others. That college needs to read First Amendment rights more carefully as there are fine prints. Defamation (slander and libel) and yelling “fire” in a crowded theater when there is no fire, is not protected under the First Amendment.
