- MINI BRAAAIIIIDDDDS! If you loved my mini twists tutorial I hope you'll try this one as well! I was skeptical to try braids because I was so attached to my twists but I actually think I may grow to love these more!

Finally someone using their real hair, no shade to box braids or anything else. I am just trying to grow my hair a different way.
Same! "Naturally" lol
There are plenty of tutorials and videos with mini braids and box braids without the use of extensions.
Fluffy Janeli EXACTLY SIS
Yeah, crochet braids and dry, cold weather broke off my hair.
SAMMEEEE😭
Finally!!! a video only braiding their own natural hair attached to their own head without extension, feed in hair, box braids or a weave.
🙏Bless🙏 your soul gurl.. 🙏BLESS IT🙏
There are so many vids tf
I’m literally just roaming around RUclips looking for the best protective style I can do to my hair next. And yours is perfect!
yaaaaaas! I'm glad you like it!
replicated this exact look w/ waist length feed ins ... thx for the idea
Nia lynn I honestly want to do the saaaaame! I need to find someone who can braid forreal tho! Lol
How many packs did you use?
Reign Harris i bought three packs of spectra ezbraid and that was a lot more than enough bc that hair is so thick
Julzwithaz i can braid ,where do you live?
We have the same hair type ! I’m so happy to see someone else’s braids look like mine 🥹
I finally found someone with the same hair texture as mine! I have been looking for weeks for protective hairstyles for my hair. Definitely trying this out!
you always have the best protective styles, I need to learn how to do cornrows so I can do this style! 😍
I’ve been wanting to try this style for about a year.. finally got the continents today to try and I loved it!!!never cornrowed on my own hair before and I was able to do this style. Thank you!
I really LOVE the parting - I have very fine hair and so I always end up with too much scalp showing which I hate! But I think that parting it this way may make a difference for me. THANKS!
Girl you're so pretty. If I tried this, I would end up looking like Felicia. Smh.
Jessika Danielle i can relate.
I live my beautiful dark skin sisters #brown skin girls
Aww..I bet if you tried this, you'd be beautiful
The clean parts make her braids beautiful !
I just need to learn how to braid to the scalp first ):
Cealise Jackson you can look up videos, I tried it for the first time and it looks pretty good.. it can be a little frustrating tho
Cornrowing, you basically just add hair into the middle strand instead of the side strands like with a French braid. The start of the braid start it off normal, then on the second go round you add hair to the middle strand only and keep braiding, only adding more hair into the middle strand. Pull it tight each time to help it stay tight on the scalp.
My hands cramp up and my arms get so tired. I end up giving up halfway through- or I finish and the first ones look- okaaaaaay...? And the other ones are just plain awful 😂😂😂
Olivia C.S lol you just have to get used to it even though it feels like your arms are about to fall off 😂. Try braiding upside down hanging off the edge of your bed. When your arms hurt like that, they need more blood flow.
Cealise Jackson you just start really small and add hair as you go
omg she’s beautiful 💫
Going to try this tomorrow. My hair isn't thick or long, but I can get it in a bun. Thanks for sharing.
Marque Kander how’d it go
Ima try this look for the month lockdown🔒🔒.....it cute and simple
Perfect protective style, just what I was looking for! Thank you! You have no idea how long it took me to find that go to protective style🙆🏽♀️💆🏽♀️
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
I was thinking about doing box braids all through out my hair but the cornrow method will save me soo much time ❤️hope it come out right and I don’t end up looking like a boy 😭
This is so pretty! i've been looking for natural styles to do while I'm in college so thanks for sharing!
This is SO BEAUTIFUL
Finally found a protective style that can work on my fine hair instead of two braids😩❤️ thank youuu!
I want this style sooo bad 😭😭😭 I just don’t know how to braid my own hair that way, for some weird reason I could braid someone else hair though🤷🏾♀️
funny..I'm the opposite lol
Sameee
@@Julzwithaz I'm the opposite too lol
Freaking Gorgeous!!!! I want to try this style with my hair.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wish I had paid proper attention because I'm doing flat twists! I hate the eventual shrinkage but I'll definitely cornrow my hair next time - it's a cute look perfect for work!
Just did this hairstyle on myself, loveee it.
This is so cute! Very fresh, summery look. It gives me prep school vibes for some reason lol
I've been really into braiding my hair lately so im gonna try this for sure
very nice. I wish i knew how to braid to my scalp. I'll try this technique with flat twists. thanks!
Thank you for the straight-forward explanations, super helpful for beginners like me. :)
I think about this hairstyle so much but my hair isn’t long enough yet. But in about 2-3 months this will be my go to braid style.
This is a great idea and so cute, especially since my hair is less dense in the front. Perhaps if you did more rows in the back it would have been more filled in. Or like you said had someone else do the back in individuals for you. Really cute with the bandanna btw.
This video was so soothing and pleasant to watch. Haha, Thank you!
Looks great! Such a good idea doing mini cornrows than the braids. Takes less time and looks the same pretty much. Going to give this a try
These look extremely nice on you. Although I do know how to braid with braiding hair I’m kinda done with braid extensions because my scalp is so so sore because I’ve braided in the extension hair 3 times back to back. Either I didn’t like how they looked or couldn’t lay down to sleep. I’m going to go more natural and just use my natural hair. Braiding does help some of us with length retention and noticeable growth! I’m just a bit frustrated to say the least, but I have got to keep my hands out of my hair and the only way is to braid up this hair. Thanks for posting this video because I’m more encouraged to braid my hair only. Btw, I can’t seem to master the knotless braiding to save my life. Everyone on yt makes it look so easy to do👎🏽
I just tried this style! love it!!!
This is cute!!! But gonna add a bit of marley hair to each braid to give it some body. Such a cute idea!
Hair is beautiful and she seems to manage it 😊❤️
Thank you! Needed some inspirational dm this was perfect! I appreciate you!!!
First time watching this channel and as soon as I clicked I was like... Zoe Kravitz??!! You look SO much like her 😄 great video 😊
I love the sweater color
I will definitely try this. Do you have any tips for doing cornrows in the back?
You are sooooo pretty !!!!!!!! And your hair is just gorgeous !!!
Oh Yeah, I do this style sometimes ; I love it, it's easy & healthy for your hair!👌💕
I love it! Def gonna try it!
Thank you because i didn’t know how to part it to make it look nice you braid nice :)
Imma try dis hair style
Really cute!
Love this style, and I would try to do it BUT my hair is SUPER uneven and weird lengths all over my head😩☹️
does your hair shrink up with this style? I love my twists the first day but as soon as the second day i get shrinkage even if i try to stretch them at night, so i wanna try braids instead to see if it helps. Great hairstyle btw!
Super cute style!
Since my hair is short and relaxed, but not bone straight, I think I need to add a little hair. I've thought of this style many times. Now I know what it looks like in real life. Thanks. No box braids was much better choice.
I'm going to try this and hope it comes out just as nice as yours!!!
Thanks so much sis, this is awesome
It's so pretty! 🥰
Just beautiful
She is beautiful😍 glad I stumbled to her channel
It’s very cute hairstyle. But how long do this last. I’m loving it girl🥰🥰
I love this❤❤❤
these are the cornrow I'm gonna try.
I will do this, but since my hair is shorter, I’m gonna use light extinctions and put clear beads at the end
Very cool! I love learning about hair textures that are different than my own :)
Love this style. Please do more ××&& add more jewelry
Thank you so much this really helped me a lot I love the style 🤍
I wanna do this but with beads or something
imma do this on my hair
loved this! i’m definitely trying this asap
Your gorgeous and love the curls
My hair never looks like that . Either I wish I never could braid.
My curly hair is annoying because I can't braid , thee struggles of not knowing how to braid.
I Will try this💓
This style is so inspirational! You have inspired me' Thank You Luv
These are so beautiful!! 😍😍
Phenomenally beautiful! Thank you for the video.
I pray I can do this on my hair. I never did small braid on myself
I like this as I have similar texture hair. Also looking for styles similar for professional/work look
Did it come out as a defined braid out look?
Very cute and unique
I should try this
Do I got the patience for this
This would look pretty with beads.
Will this pull at my hairline and edges?
My friend did this on me and I would recommend having longer hair because having short hair will make it look weird (I have collarbone length)
How many braids did you have?
You’re so beautiful 💗
I'm going to try it
Wish I knew how to scalp braid, this is cute 🙌🏾
It's called cornrowing
I like it. I am ging to try it. Beautiful
I like that you use your real hair I love the style but can you do more maybe something with a ponytail
This is real cute!
This is cute. Thanks for sharing 😀
how long did these last?
I’m going to try this
Will this still work on hair a little shorter than yours
I think it will. I'm going to try it.
@@sh20130 it worked pretty well for me I think next time I just need to do smaller sections and also actually take the time to detangle
@@princealiML It worked too but my hair is about half her length so they weren't really coming towards my face like that. They were just falling downwards. Also at the back I did two parts instead of three. I can't wait to try this hairstyle again when my hair grows out a bit more.
I just tried this style because of you. It doesn't look as nice as yours but I still like it
about how long does this take?
Mo'Love2you 1 1/2 hours for me! More or less depending on your hairs length and density
Julzwithaz lol I read the comments as how long does it last and read your r comment and was like WHAT 😂😂😂
you have such a cute smile 😍
I gonna try this with two strand flat twist instead with twist in the back
lol I can’t cornrow
I also have a couple mini twists tutorials!
Super cute!
I'm gonna do this on my hair.. cute
Ahhh Jesus, do I have the patience for this today?😫😫
HELP! I'm white but I have very curly hair (not as curly as her sadly) an sometimes I would like to do a protective hairstyle but my hair are not staying together without an elastic, what can I do? 💕
Use the tiny poly bands.
claudia evangelista buy really
Small clear braid elastics. I’m hispanic and white mu hair is curly too but they would still come out without the elastics so they help a lot. And they aren’t super noticeable ❤️
HOW DO U KEEP THE IN?
