Mini braids is the truth! I've done the for a year now. Didnt exactly care for them well last year but this year I did them a bit bigger and moisturize and redo them every week using aloe vera juice as a moisturizer and grease to seal. Mu hair is flourishing health wise and gaining length too. I try to wash once a month or as needed.
I'm going to do these again soon. Just took mine out yesterday. After 6 weeks of wearing them. They are most def convenient. Don't have to worry about my hair much. Just moisture and water them every two weeks.
did you do them on damp hair?? and when you braided, did you do them in a downwards direction or did you just do whatever felt comfortable and wait for them to fall?? lolol, you have to be wary of direction. and grip the roots well - too lose and the roots will get puffy as they dry, pulling the braids upwards. though if you do all of that and they still stick up and out, it might just be your hair texture. attach beads to the end so gravity will pull them without you having to manhandle your hair 😭

same! You really have to plan out a day/ days to take it out or else you’ll have them in forever bc you don’t feel like undoing them 😂
