Quick question; have you ever played Cadence of Hyrule in fixed beat mode? It makes the game much better. It’s a great Zelda spinoff once you really get the hang of it. Also, I really liked Age of Calamity myself. Mostly because of Sooga though. I really want to try the first Hyrule Warriors soon.
IT SURE IS IM TOO HYPED MY CHILDHOOD FAVAROUTE RUclipsR, IN A PODCAST! i already know im gonna get addicted to this podast im gonna rewatch over and over and over
You guys make me feel old. I am 45 almost 46 and I remember playing the first Zelda game on Nintendo. Ive always been fascinated with the Zelda franchise. It’s the best!
High key really want a tshirt that says, "I'm a Zeldude." Food for thought. 😉 In all seriousness, I LOVED this and can't wait for more (merch or no merch lol)!! ❤
I was born late '88, so my first Zelda was Link to the Past. My grandmother played it and the first time i saw the game, she was fighting the second fight w Aghanim (whom she always refered to as "The Wizard"). That was it for me, and I turned 10 when OoT was brand new. Best christmas gift ever.
I'm a huge Zeltik fan and love watching his videos, but there's something special about seeing the person behind the video. Super cool to hear both of you guys. Looking forward to more content!
I’ve just discovered this channel and I have sooooo much to look forward to! I’ve loved LOZ since I first played Ocarina of Time back in 2018 but never really knew much about the whole history and lore. So I have much to learn and I think this is the place!
Oh lord - you guys make me feel old 😅 Original 1986 Zelda was the first game I ever played when I was 4 years old in 1991. What a trip down memory lane.
Mine was Zelda II: Adventure of Link. Also at 4 but in 1995. Had not learn to read yet and my parents ability to read English was limited, talk about hard mode. Second game was the original Legend of Zelda. Loved both games 👍🏻
My introduction to the series was so bizarre. When I was in Year 4 (which was around 2017-2018), the teacher brought their Wii U to school and we were watching them play Wind Waker HD. The whole class were kind of backseating the teacher as they played and it kind of became apart of the curriculum because we were given tasks like writing a diary entry as Link about how his experience is with loosing his sister and meeting a talking boat. It was so much fun! However we only got up to dragonroost island when my teacher got angry at the class for being loud and they put down the game and we never saw it again. I later got Breath of the Wild on my switch about a year later for Christmas and I have loved The Legend of Zelda to death ever since and it is now in my top five favourite game series of all time.
100% agree with a From Software Zelda game. I always thought the art of TP Link fighting Darknuts felt so much like Dark Souls and I want a Zelda with that edge so bad! Great podcast guys! Looking forward to more!
17:20, that’s wild, I was also stuck in Egypt when Wind Waker was out. But my first Zelda games were the Oracle games and I was obsessed with Wind Waker a kid.
This is gonna be something special. Can't wait to see this develop and grow. Edit: just finished watching. Absolutely loved every minute. Been wanting something like this for a while and you guys have basically delivered. Super cozy, great vibes, interesting discussions and just gushing about a universe we're all passionate about. Genuinely excited to see where this goes.
I love that you guys are big From Software and Elden Ring fans too!! I think a lot of the bosses in that game took inspiration from Zelda ones: Radagon especially has some similarities appearance wise to Ganondorf (red hair, discolored skin, golden symbol embedded in his body, magic spells, etc.)
Hope to see you guys do more podcasts like this. My first memory of Zelda is from when I was 5. In 1996, I was in the hospital from cancer. On a day I was feeling good, the nurse took me to the play room and they had an snes hooked up. I turned it on and the game that was in there was A Link to the Past. I couldn't read very well, cause I was 5, so I didn't get very far. That memory would stick with me for 2 years till I saw the trailer for Ocarina of Time. I saw and begged my mom to get it for me for Christmas that year. My mom always encouraged my passions. So that Christmas, I got Ocarina of Time and became a Zelda fan by the time I finished that game in May. Thank you guys for doing this podcast and making me think back on my early days of Zelda.
I remember when I was a little kid, my parents buying me an 8 bit NES, with Super Mario Bros 1 and Duck Hunt. I got Zelda 1 soon after and got utterly fascinated by it. It was an ADVENTURE. Ever since then, I was a fan of Mario and Zelda (Zelda more than Mario right now).
Surprised nobody mentioned dragon roost island theme or the goated ballad of the goddess, which is my personal favorite, hell even full steam ahead slapped in its own way
Great podcast you guys! I really enjoyed the discussions between you two! 41:09 I think it would be cool if Monlithsoft made their next Zelda game like Xenoblade. Yeah there would be a lot of story and cutscenes. But that’s what I loved about Monlithsoft’s games and the Xenoblade franchise. I also really loved the open world aspect of Zelda and Xenoblade so it makes me wonder what Monlithsoft has in store for their next game! 😊❤️
I would love an episode about the evolution of Zelda speedrunning and your opinions about the glitches and stuff. I am looking forward to seeing what's next!
My younger cousin would play the Zelda games on GameCube and I would watch him play but I never played it. I didn’t play any Zelda games until the pandemic. My first was BotW, then I was hooked. I wish I would’ve play the other games as a kid but it made me appreciate how some games can truly stand the test of time. Even though I’m a late fan, I still love how much detail, story, lore and care they put into these games. Also this podcast style episode was interesting and relaxing to listen to.
It's great to see u two together making videos as u are both huge fans of Zelda just as I am I'm 14 and the first Zelda game I played was about mabey 5-6 I don't remember skyward sword coming out but I remember me playing it I had a much fun and well it was my favourite game at the time then I played botw and that's when I knew this is gonna be my new main game to play I wasn't born when the other games came out but I was still able to play it not all of the games but I played wind waker ,zelda1,2 and links awakening I remember playing ocorina of time and majora's mask on 3ds my older brother used to play the old games too he's like 25 this year when totk came out it was the best feeling in my life and I knew that this game was on a whole nother level I'm really interested in Zelda lore and the timeline history when zeltik was making trailor analysis I was glued onto it and I'm really looking forward to Ur guys' new videos good luck guys
Majora is definitely my favorite. I had such a connection w that game when it came out, i gave a name to every character in the game that didnt already have one.
Zelda Master’s story about Ocarina of Time is almost exactly the same as mine! I also have to agree with Zeltik. The Stalchildren and Dodongo’s cavern were also terrifying to me as a little boy.
Definitely looking forward to future episodes, this one helped work go by a lot faster. Also to touch on the idea of Zelda in space, I imagined a planet that it itself is a Goron just balled up to look like one, just like how they joke about big gorons in oot
I never usually listen to podcasts but I've been enjoying your podcasts a lot! I could listen to people talk about Zelda all day. Can't wait to hear more and congrats on the channel launch!
Hey , I am a Zelda fan for years. Always looking forward to the new Zelda games. I am in my sixties and believe it or not when I have the free time I still look forward to playing Zelda. One of the best games ever. 😁love watching you guys play the game.👍
not me & zeltik having almost the same exact thoughts & favorites 🤯 but i think we are similar because i’m a big softie for windwaker too! im also a King Rhoam apologist & Wild Link+Zelda are my favorite reincarnation’s too. & that unpopular opinion on Majora’s Mask- TOO REAL. i felt that. i love Zeldamaster’s let’s plays 😭😭 they hold such a place in my heart. this podcast is so cool & im for sure going to listen to it during work. thanks for a great video 🖤
It's so awesome to listen to how my favorite Zelda tubers fell in love with this beautiful series. You guys have inspired me to start my own Zelda RUclips channel and I hope that someday I can be a big Zelda RUclipsr like you guys and other famous Zelda RUclipsrs out there.
Just started watching, the thing for me with WindWaker art style concerns came from them teasing us with the style from TP and then WW was so so different.
Similar story with OOT! It was so much fun running around Kokiri village collecting things! Then I got to the Great Deku tree and he opened his mouth and the dungeon inside him made me not play the game for years lol!
Loved the podcast and learning a bit more about how both of you got into Zelda and likes/dislikes throughout the series! Excited to listen/watch this podcast!
Great podcast! I’m surprised that my favorite Zelda game was not mentioned at all! A link to the past. Definitely a classic :) looking forward to watching/listening to future episodes!
This is exactly what I need. I rarely get to actually watch a video because I'm working so I just listen to everything anyway. Stoked for this channel. Edit: I just finished, this is so huge and I know people are going to adore this style of Zelda content. I feel like this format is way easier to immerse myself in the conversation and get engaged. I had a ton of things I wanted to comment about but I'm glad you guys decided to start this and I'm sure this will take off without a doubt.

The maturity of it, the world itself, Hyrule in all of its gorgeousness is just the way I always imagined it in my head throughout the years. I love BOTW Zelda, her intelligence, her character, her looks. It's just... a whole wonderful package and very wholesome experience.
Love this podcast already. So relaxing to hear people talk about Zelda. Maybe a future topic could be the cancelled Zelda games? Like the Heroes of Hyrule game :).
ooooo, this makes me so happy! i've been watching both of you guys for a very long time! so seeing you guys together and not just for a video but an entire channel is exciting :))
Great work! I thought this was a good starting point and first episode. I really appreciate the different viewpoints you both brought to the table. It felt like you had a different opinion on just about every topic, she that's way more interesting than everybody agreeing with each other all the time. Looking forward to seeing more!
Really enjoyed the listen! It was so nice to hear you guys casually talking about zelda, vs the normal content on your channels. I found myself talking to my screen out loud, either vehemently agreeing or disagreeing constantly 😂 Cant wait for more!
I'm also 26 (27 in March) so I had a similar intro to Zelda as Zeltik with OoT and WW being the first one I really sat down and played, though for me my older Brothers and Sisters I didn't play it with as much as a kid it was mostly me and my little Brother switching off For my favorite Zelda though maybe TOTK because BOTW was my 2nd favorite and TOTK fixed many of my issues with BOTW, though Dungeons weren't quite what I was hoping for but also might still be A Link Between Worlds that's my favorite because it's also very open and free to go almost anywhere you want if you rent the right items, and it's got basically revamped versions of ALTTP, and loved the turning into a painting mechanic, I don't know love TOTK but ALBW might still be my favorite I love it so much
So happy you are still excited about Zelda and making Zelda content now that so many Zeldatubers are turning their backs on it. Great to listen to you guys, perfect first episode and please do talk for hours about any topic you like. Also if you take feedback into consideration, I found the music a bit intrusive at times.
As Zelda is my favorite game series, I am happy to see other fans share their joy over what we have in common. Welcome to podcasts Zeltik and ZeldaMaster!
I agree with Zelda 2, I actually quite like that game. It's tough, but you can really get into it with enough effort. My first playthrough I ended with eight game over, the second time it halved, maybe one day I'll make it through without even losing a life!
42:25 same with from software, would love to see a Zelda from them But I think I want Retro Studios to have a crack at it, imagine a 3D Metroidvania Zelda game
I remember playing ocarina of time as a kid. I was too dumb to figure out adult link, so I would replay and reset everytim I finished the first three dungeons. Only years later when I replayed the game for the 20th time that I beat it fully
My first Zelda game was Four Swords Adventures, although I had to play it alone since my siblings are all much older than me. I still enjoyed it though, the first one I actually beat was Wind Waker though.
This was absolutely awesome. Really enjoyed all of it. Just on the "hot take" part, I unfortunately feel like ToTK weirdly made both feel incomplete. BoTW has the soul, but ToTK has the mechanics. The gameplay feels more complete in ToTK, but the world and story felt better in BoTW somehow.
My earliest memories of Zelda were like 4/5 playing the original legend of Zelda and adventure of link on the NES and then ocarina of time a few years later followed by Majora’s mask, which made me want to play the gameboy titles also so I had a few of the easier to get ones on the handheld systems. 🤔
Thanks for tuning in to Episode 1 of Zeldudes! Also live on Spotify! Subscribe to this channel for more discussions, interviews with others in the Zelda community, and playthroughs of the games themselves! 🎉
Great job! Can't wait to hear more.
Any chance you can bring Peanut Butter Gamer onto this podcast? If not maybe Hyrule Gamer?
Just discovered this. Are you bringing it to Apple podcasts? Super excited to be listening to you guys while I go for my long walks. Cheers ❤
Zeltik, what happened to the Podcast on Spotify?
Can't find it on Spotify, but excited to check it out either place. Can you post a link?
IT'S TIME!

This is going to be a big success
I already know I’m going to enjoy this.

"I'm a Zeldudette" 😂😂

I appreciated the shout out for links crossbow training. I expect to hear more about that game in the future seeing as it is the best Zelda game.
Have to say, the topics on this podcast are wonderful. Really solid first episode, well done guys!
The collab we never knew we needed
I love that you guys are big From Software and Elden Ring fans too!! I think a lot of the bosses in that game took inspiration from Zelda ones: Radagon especially has some similarities appearance wise to Ganondorf (red hair, discolored skin, golden symbol embedded in his body, magic spells, etc.)
A Zelda podcast hosted by two of my favourite Zelda creators?!?! This week just keeps getting better!
Cool!
This is awesome- two of my most watched Zelda RUclipsrs, DOING A PODCAST? Dream come true. I hope this goes somewhere.
please do it many more times....invite more zelda tubers and talk about secrets, lore, and even the flaws from zelda games
Hope to see you guys do more podcasts like this.

I remember the Caleb ZD walkthroughs. So nostalgic man

You guys definitely need to get the rest of the gang on! Would love to see HMK and Wily on here. Even if it is as guests!
Really awesome podcast! Can’t wait to see more. Also, I love that you put Zelda and Chill in the background, I listen to those all the time!

The king of Zelda lore and the king of Zelda let's plays talking about Zelda for two hours was the easiest subscribe ever for me!! 💚
I'm 66 and still playing zelda since the first zelda game in 1986!! LOVE IT ❤❤❤
@@Vrederiqa yep, me too.👍
not me & zeltik having almost the same exact thoughts & favorites 🤯 but i think we are similar because i’m a big softie for windwaker too! im also a King Rhoam apologist & Wild Link+Zelda are my favorite reincarnation’s too.
Another podcast I can listen to on my train rides to university. W podcast. Keep it up guys!
Similar story with OOT! It was so much fun running around Kokiri village collecting things! Then I got to the Great Deku tree and he opened his mouth and the dungeon inside him made me not play the game for years lol!
Nice to know that I wasn't the only one afraid of Zelda games at first
My favorite Zelda tubers in one video, loving the podcast presentation to! Cheers my zelda bretheren!
Loved the podcast and learning a bit more about how both of you got into Zelda and likes/dislikes throughout the series! Excited to listen/watch this podcast!
Growing fast. Just yesterday when this released subs
Great podcast! I’m surprised that my favorite Zelda game was not mentioned at all! A link to the past. Definitely a classic :) looking forward to watching/listening to future episodes!

I had a ton of things I wanted to comment about but I'm glad you guys decided to start this and I'm sure this will take off without a doubt.
Loving the podcast and gameplay videos so far! Thanks for your work guys! :)
my answers to your questions :
- favourite Zelda game : Majora's Mask
- least Favourite Zelda game : Skyward Sword
- favourite Spinoff : dunno, don't think I've ever played any
- Best Link : BOTW
- Best Zelda : Twilight Princess (though BOTW is close)
- Worst Link : Skyward Sword
- Worst Zelda : Wind Waker
- Best Race : Zoras (especially in BOTW/TOTK) but s/o to Ritos and Zonai
- Best non-Triforce character : Anju & Kaffei (I'm slightly cheating here, but they are two halves of a whole), though I love Midna, Mipha and Excello
Being the same age as you Zeltik, I really enjoyed hearing how you first got into Zelda, for me personally my first game was ALTTP (although it was the GBA port), and I just remember my 5-6 year old mind being blown away by the game transitioning into the dark world with another 8 dungeons to tackle after thinking I'd completed the game after the initial 3 in Hyrule. 😃
Looking forward to catching up on your other and future podcasts!
I am playing phantom hourglass for the furst time while listening to this. Im so glad you decided to do a podcast.
Loved it! Looking forward to more zelda discussion from the GOATS!
My first loved Zelda game was A link to the past, but my all time favorite is Breath of the Wild. I genuinely think no other game will ever come closer to perfection for me.
Yay podcast let’s go. This is amazing. I’m actually so happy-
Wow guys, I'm 20yrs yall's senior!!! My first Zelda was the original tLoZ on NES!!!
This is so awesome guys, really looking forward to more!
Great work! I thought this was a good starting point and first episode. I really appreciate the different viewpoints you both brought to the table. It felt like you had a different opinion on just about every topic, she that's way more interesting than everybody agreeing with each other all the time. Looking forward to seeing more!
I really liked this podcast, the whole Zelda discussion in 2 hours let me listen to and enjoy opinions on other Zelda games and characters
Glad you enjoyed!

Wishing you both nothing but success. Great first episode.

I’m so excited that you guys are doing this channel! Love the conversations!!!
The start of something Legendary im proud of you guys I've been watching you guys for years now and besides my favorite Zelda RUclipsrs
Really enjoyed the listen! It was so nice to hear you guys casually talking about zelda, vs the normal content on your channels. I found myself talking to my screen out loud, either vehemently agreeing or disagreeing constantly 😂 Cant wait for more!
A idea for the podcast is that you could have live q and a video’s where the viewers can ask questions about Zelda in general.
gunne be here often good luck with your podcast guys been watching both of you for ages :)
Yesss loved this, was a perfect listen while I did my house chores. Can't wait for more of this content!
I'm also 26 (27 in March) so I had a similar intro to Zelda as Zeltik with OoT and WW being the first one I really sat down and played, though for me my older Brothers and Sisters I didn't play it with as much as a kid it was mostly me and my little Brother switching off
For my favorite Zelda though maybe TOTK because BOTW was my 2nd favorite and TOTK fixed many of my issues with BOTW, though Dungeons weren't quite what I was hoping for but also might still be A Link Between Worlds that's my favorite because it's also very open and free to go almost anywhere you want if you rent the right items, and it's got basically revamped versions of ALTTP, and loved the turning into a painting mechanic, I don't know love TOTK but ALBW might still be my favorite I love it so much
I was a pre teen when Ocarina came out. What a thrill playing it! The temples were scary as hell for a little Link...
I love that you both watch/ed L.A. Beast. I never would have guessed xD
This is so awesome!!! Always great to see you guys collaborate.
Zeltik, a king Rhoam apologist?! No, I feel so betrayed!!!😂😂😂😢
Oh I'd love if you were able to get Commonwealth Realms! I love his content as much as yours! The ULTIMATE Zelda trio!!!! 💯💪
Very excited for this! Thanks for all your hard work guys!
So happy you are still excited about Zelda and making Zelda content now that so many Zeldatubers are turning their backs on it. Great to listen to you guys, perfect first episode and please do talk for hours about any topic you like.
Also if you take feedback into consideration, I found the music a bit intrusive at times.
They just didn't like ToTK nobody turned there backs on the series LMFAO
As Zelda is my favorite game series, I am happy to see other fans share their joy over what we have in common. Welcome to podcasts Zeltik and ZeldaMaster!
I agree with Zelda 2, I actually quite like that game. It's tough, but you can really get into it with enough effort. My first playthrough I ended with eight game over, the second time it halved, maybe one day I'll make it through without even losing a life!
this podcast is something i like cause it gives me something to listen to while doing homework.
You can't have a Zelda podcast without somehow playing Zelda and Chill from Gamechops
42:25 same with from software, would love to see a Zelda from them
But I think I want Retro Studios to have a crack at it, imagine a 3D Metroidvania Zelda game
Funny that Dragon Roost kicks while you guys are talking about WW
This podcast was very nice to listen too while doing my work!
SO excited for more of this!!
What a great surprise!! Great jobs guys!! Cant wait for more!
My earliest memories of Zelda were like 4/5 playing the original legend of Zelda and adventure of link on the NES and then ocarina of time a few years later followed by Majora’s mask, which made me want to play the gameboy titles also so I had a few of the easier to get ones on the handheld systems. 🤔
Seeing Commonwealth as a guest would be awesome.
