The Atlantic Edge 22 - A 400+ km journey and exploration of The Outer Hebrides by sea kayak.

A journey of over three weeks, taking in the most southerly island Bereray and Barra Head. The East and West coast of Uist was paddled, with two nights on the wonderful low lying Monach Islands (on the West coast) and finishing due to the weather on the west coast of Lewis. Andrew Warrender and Lori Nish made up the team and it was a true pleasure to share the water and my birthday with both of them.
We saw many eagles golden and white tailed, a couple of minki whales, a distant basking shark and two pods of dolphins. For me a highlight was being woken up min Mingulay with over 300 seals hauled out on the beach signing into the night. A truly memorable adventure!
