Idk about #2, because Texas in July, and August Burns Red both are considered metalcore and they dont have much cleans. I always heard Post-hardcore was uncleans mixed with cleans? I can 100% agree about this jam being Hardcore though. 🤘 -Joel
@brockly6434 go to one of their shows. You're not going to see any metalcore fans there. All hardcore fans. That tells you what you need to know. Even if by technicalities they are considered metalcore, they lean more toward the spirit of hardcore, thus why you only see hardcore kids at the shows. Same with knocked loose and similar bands. These "beat down" bands have sorta become the new age "hardcore".
One of my newer favorite bands, basically a Pantera Machine head sound and the lyrics are always very deep and emotional as well as insane vocals. Great band

Fellas, this is beat down.
Love the vid.
the bass strings looking cool is because the bass is the coolest thing about this band. Its so fucking good.
They're classified as metalcore, but everyone considers them hardcore.
A little Left Brain vs Right Brain here at the end and I’m dying laughing! 😂
Good job advocating for the F-Bombs Chuck! - Cell
I remember listening to these guys when the singer was skinny lol
def hardcore over metalcore
BEAT DOWN >
It's like hardcore, but they downtuned the guitars and added a metal distortion tone.
This is hardcore. 1.metalcore came from hc and 2.there's no clean chorus.
