I would use the Rock Hill Situation against the Panthers, if I was a NC politician. I would low ball them, claiming that Tepper wants to rip-off the state. Then, file for eminent domain during the season or evict the Panthers 8 weeks into the season to embarrass the league. Tepper is a very rich person. I’m going to keep it real, everyone in North Carolina was wondering why they would build it down in South Carolina, because as it is we don’t like traveling down to SC as it is. I believe it would have taken about 20 mins from uptown Charlotte (where the stadium is located) and no one wanted it built there. Also, the filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy wasn’t because he went broke with the failed HQ but to help him with legal matters.
