- What's up, Galera! You know the Ginga, but now you want some variation and style. The Ginga does everything in Capoeira. It gives you momentum, timing, and style. It sets up your opponent for a takedown, kick, or attack. The Ginga sets up your acrobatics, ground game, and just movement in general.
Let's give you some variations to trick your opponent, make you unpredictable, and give you some style in the roda! Bora! I said 7 different Gingas, BUT....there are actually more in this video. Enjoy.

The only video on RUclips addressing adding style to your Capoeira. Much needed for newbies. I just started and my mestre is talking about style and this helped me greatly. Please do more styling, dancing, moving videos as you are the only one addressing this. Thanks for a great video
I always adopt a taichi-like hand movement flow when I ginga (because I studied a lil of that) and I realized the movement actually synergize pretty well. 😅
