    They have 3 singers in this band. Drummer Brann Dailor (lead vocal in Teardrinker), bassist Troy Sanders (second voice in Teardrinker) and guitarist Brent Hinds (Sleeping Giant) . Check out their song called Oblivion than you will hear (and see in the official video) all 3 voices together. Oblivion is a pure masterpiece like their whole album Crack the Skye from 2009. Greetings from Poland 👌PS. That was a bass solo.

    Distortion/Wah on the bass. Brann is the singer on this track. He was the high harmony on the bridge before the bass solo, while Troy the bass player was the low melody.

    Fun fact the drummer and the rhythm guitarist came from my home town of Rochester NY! Love them.

    The mysterious instrument is in fact a bass with a filthy fuzz distortion on it, your instinct was right. The other voice you heard was the bassist, Troy Sanders. He was featured at the end of Sleeping Giant and did most of the vocals in their earlier stuff along with Brent Hinds, 1 of 2 guitarists in the band. As for their "Bohemian Raphsody", Id say they have at the very least 1 per album. The Last Baron is absolute brilliance but its far from their only track that will stand the test of time. I would LOVE to see more Mastodon on the channel! Also, I too am super excited for the new KoRn album. Your KoRn reactions are actually what brought me here in the first place. Keep up the good work man, rock on. 🤘

    When you first start listening to Mastodon and think you are going crazy when you hear the other band members sing 😆🤘
    (Even Bill has vocals on some tracks) so technically they all sing 😂

    Tool vibes come from the fact that David Bottrill is producing this album (Aenima and Laterlalus). Just an FYI…all but 1 member of Mastodon sings! Definitely a unique and talented band.

      Bill used to sing backup on some earlier releases and still does live from time to time. He would much rather focus on playing than singing, and considers the other three to be far better vocalists.

    More mastodon brother. Anyway the lead vocalist on this song is Brann Dailor, he’s also the drummer and legit one of the best drummer there is right now, incredible talented. The other vocalist on this song is Troy sanders the bassist, he does a lot of leads, Brent Hinds the lead guitarist also does lead vocals but he’s been doing less in recent years and Brann has been doing more, all of them are approaching 50. If you want to hear all 3 together on a song listen to their song oblivion, the only member in the band who doesn’t do lead vocals is Bill Kelliher the rhythm guitarist who’s an amazing musician tho and is 50 already. Also that was a bass solo not guitar, it sounds sick and pretty unusual but fits perfectly. You should also check out the song “more than I could chew” from their brand new album hushed and grim, song and album are awesome. Teardrinker was one of the singles from the album.

    Yeah so blood and thunder was one of their biggest. Was on need for speed most wanted on ps2. That and Oblivion are huge songs. And if you want their huge progressive masterpiece, it’s got to be The Czar: Usurper / Escape / Martyr etc. the album was a concept and that song will warp your mind. Incredible.

    The last baron is their masterpiece imo

      They have multiple masterpieces imo not just that song. Roots remain is a perfect song Imo, so his hearts alive/“more than I could chew” on the new album. Probably a couple more I’m not listing right off top. They’ve got some of the best songs and discographies as a whole in the last 2 decades. The last baron is nuts tho

      At least you part of the party now, mastodon is one of the absolute best bands of the last 2 decades. How’d you like the new record hushed & grim? I really love it and it clicked with me immediately, “more than I could chew” is one of my favorite songs from their discography.

    Or the new archspire - dead corpse aviator please and thank you

    • @puppetmaster8551
      @puppetmaster8551 2 года назад

      I’m not much of a FFA fan but far from heaven is a really awesome song, by far my favorite from them. Can’t get into archspire personally, they’re really talented but just that genre in general doesn’t click for me. I’m more into stuff like be’lakor which is melodeath, highly recommend if you haven’t heard them before, their new album from last night coherence is awesome. Anyway I’m kinda rambling now but I definitely think far from heavy would be a dope one for him to check out, songs is great, the main guitar riff is awesome.
