If you noticed their age, it’s not correct to their age right now. Either YHS/YG made the decision and filmed this last year or earlier this year. Ahyeon is now 16, Chiquita is 14, Asa is 17, and Ruka is 21. LOL!!

@@SaGeForReal 4 months that's about since Babymonster showed up till now ..also starting from this year ..korea adopted to the international age system.. no longer is added an extra year while the baby is inside his or her mom:)

Ruka was born in 2002, and she just had her bday in March.. she’s 21 years old now.
Pharita was born in 2005, which means she’s 17 turning 18 this year.
Asa was born in 2006 and recently turned 17 last month.
Ahyeon was in born 2007 and also recently turned 16 years old last month.
Haram was born in 2007 and will be turning 16 this October.
Rora was born in 2008 and will be turning 15 in August.
Chiquita was born in 2009 who turned 14 in February.

like you said... their ages on the cards (Chiquita 13 or Ruka 20 for example) are old. That was true at the end of last year / beginning of this year but not now. Soooo when exactly was this filmed (and decided)? ;) I would bet end of last year before they released their teaser and started the marketing...

At the onset, a lot of them were throwing her out of the final lineup, calling her mid visual, mid this and that and calling her a dozen. At the end she and Rora are just fan's choice not chosen because yg wanted to but because he wanted to please fans. I really can't describe how sad I am but I find the reasons disgusting. It doesn't sit well with me. Because from the onset I started doubting Asa's debut because of how yg behaves towards her. It as if he's being forced to enjoy her presence.........

I think ruka should be the leader of the group. It is usually the oldest is the leader bcos the younger one respect more the eldest one. Thats just my opinion but usually idols leaders are usually the older one.
YG doesn't do usually follow the traditonal leader system of eldest member = leader. GD is the middle child of BIGBANG, CL is part 2NE1's maknae line, Yoon is the maknae of WINNER, B.I was the middle child of iKON.

@@luvi4123 I can't speak for all Koreans but I think they do find it interesting to have a foreign leader, not just Japanese, leading a Kpop group whether it a boy group or girl group, I also do not think they perceive it as a loss of Korean talent. There have been a handful of Kpop groups who have been led by a foreign member and became popular f(x), Secret Number, Kep1er, Stray Kids, 2PM come to mind if it's talked about.
@@luvi4123 Well f(x)'s Victoria is Chinese, Secret Number's Léa is Japanese, Kep1er's Mashiro is also Japanese, Stray Kids' Bang Chan is born in Korea but his nationality is Australian, 2PM's former leader Jay Park is born in the US. Point is, there really is no dispute of a foreigner leading a Kpop group as history shows that some foreign led Kpop groups are doing or did just fine in the industry.
