Lick of the Day - D Chord Resolution (Beginner)

There are a lot of simple musical ideas we can draw out of simple chord shapes and open strings. I like "licks" like these because they play on the strengths of a flattop acoustic guitar.
This is a quick idea pulled out of a regular D chord.
