  • Dr. Matthias Rose, Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin discusses the integration of patient-reported outcomes into the CONVINCE study.
    Dr. Rose has received numerous awards, including the Lilly Quality of Life Award, and the Teacher of the Year Award from the University Clinic in Hamburg. His German group was first to publish a comprehensive Item Response Theory (IRT) item bank and a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) to measure depressive symptoms (D-CAT). Dr. Rose has worked in the field of health outcome research for almost two decades. He was one of the developers of the Patient-Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS), is an active member of the Quality of Life group from the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), and consulted the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency (IQTIG) about outcome assessments for renal replacement therapy.
