Neil Gaiman reading a cut draft from the upcoming Good Omens tv series. My phone quality isn't phenomenal, but the audio is adequate. I love Aziraphale, so I was excited to hear a brand new moment with the character, cut scene or not.

Also, lemme just say. I have poor vision and a low screen brightness, and Mr. Gaiman's suit just so happens to be the same colour as the table cover beside him. I kid you not, for a solid two minutes, I was trying to figure out if he was wearing a buckled dress.

continuity and story rhythm is my guess. the first scene is unnecessary in terms of moving the story along and the second scene is outright derailing it. we dont need that subplot for anything so it was cut to keep the flow of the story

too busy putting in new scenes featuring murderous thuggish archangels who bully and want to murder Aziraphale and scenes showing how the demon Crawly cares more about human children than that evil, evil, children-drowing God, apparantly
