      That's definitely not the fault of the cameraman, that's the fault of the producer in the truck that dictates what gets shown on our screen at the moment, virtually everything on the field gets shown on camera. One time this woman at work wanted to true up an accrual that was below our materiality threshold. I pointed the threshold out to her and she said she had capacity to complete it before the books closed so we agreed that it should be done. Pretty intense.

      Yeah, it was during his final year when every team gave him a gift that had a connection to their team. I know the Twins gave him a jar of David Ortiz edition peanut butter from a company in Minnesota because I was there. I think it was because of a prank they pulled on him when he played for the Twins (I believe they put it in his pants and made it look like he shit himself...)

    • @TathwemEssenuejal
      @TathwemEssenuejal 6 лет назад +1

      Yup. Tori Hunter specifically was the one to pull that on him. In fact, he put it in Ortiz's underwear and he didn't notice until after he put the underwear on that there was peanut butter in it.

    Hey Bryce..you are paid 8 figured...RUN. You know what has never WON a game? Standing at home plate after hitting a ball. Whether it is a pop up that you assume is going to be caught, or styling and profiling watching what you think is going to be a home run just to get on ESPN even though no one has watched Sportscenter in 20 years. But you know what HAS LOST many games? Standing at home plate after hitting a ball. Whether it is a pop up that you assume is going to be caught, or styling and profiling watching what you think is going to be a home run just to get on ESPN even though no one has watched Sportscenter in 20 years.
    Not to mention the many injuries that come from a guy standing at home plate, only to watch the ball fall in play and then having to run much harder trying to get to second base, often causing an awkward slide. (See Yoenis Cespedes' injuries the last two seasons.) And evne more hilarious is when the clueless announcers say "Look at him hustle!" on a play that the batter SHOULD have been standing on second long before the ball got there.
