I raced an 89 kx500 in 89 and loved that bike !! I currently race a 92 ktm mx 500 today imo a superior bike , it does have a works set of triple trees and works conventional magnums on it !!! Ken if interested I have a one owner 83 maico mx 490 15 hrs on it , a race ready 84 yz 490 ohlins shock fork kit , wrench report engine comp release etc 91 Husqvarna wmx 125 race ready 88 cagiva wmx 250 and some others for sale or trade for gasgas ktm 350 - Great video
Definitely a beautiful and solid gorgeous beast. Christie did an amazing job on the graohics, as always. I can honestly say that Christie's graphic design work, is the most beautiful and talented that I have ever seem. You'll make a great couple, and talented work team. I was impressed as hell to see the bike running,while sitting still, and not see the rear fender vibrating all over the place, jumping all around like many other 500 2 stroke mx dirtbikes. Beautiful color scheme on the bike. Your men definitely have a knack for knowing what people like to see on bikes.

I don’t know what it is but even as a kid I was always pulled to the Kawi green. This is the coolest one I’ve ever seen yet. That seat is sick( in a good way). GOD bless!
This was my dream bike in 89. Dad had some at the shop and I could have gotten it at cost + 10% but he didn’t want me hurt so I start riding bikes and skateboards on a half pipe! LOL 😂

All joking aside. Find a nice spot in the corner of the room and put it up on its stand and just stare… It would be a 24/7 smile from ear to ear!!!

If your not sure how long you will be able to get curtain parts for the Kawasaki's just stoxk up on them you will need them sooner or later and if not you could probably get more money for them if they stop making them.
Ken,im telling you throw extended swingarm on a KX and you're top 🐕. You know it's true I've ripped CR500s too but KX500 is much more tractable power less spinning more climbing any other size I'm all CR but not the 500

leave that silencer alone ! i just watch you lifting the front wheel a few inches off the ground while shifting gears flawlessly ! that takes a tremendous amount of torque ! its the long silencer giving up more torque than ive seen in 50 years ! dont you touch that silencer , we can buy and change out a cheap ass noisy piece of crap to make it loud . where are you going to find a silencer that tuned in as well as that one did !
