absolutely ZERO talk about a tune or what base map they used.... if they used a standalone ECU or a piggyback or what??? didn't talk any numbers. I'm disappointed
Hey this is annoying but im desperately looking for answers at this point and ive seen you have experience with turboing these cars. I've been fighting a misfire in my e36 for almost a year now and at a loss. I've narrowed it down to the fact the car seems to only register the first fuel bank in the ecu as it was previously turboed, I've tried multiple different tuned ecu's, and everything down to the plugs, multiple crank sensors and all that has been had multiple thrown at it. The whole engine harness was swapped as it didnt have front o2's. The timing was off a tooth and just finished getting done.. and it didnt change the problem, let alone change how the car ran at all. Most of that is all back to stock and it still wont show a second bank which causes an odd misfire under max load after a certain duration, if car is turned off the car will reset and the car could drive without issue until it goes under max load again and after a certain duration but the duration seems to get shorter as the car repeats this and gets hot I think i dont know (but for example trying to push the car through an event it seems to come back quicker).
What fuel pump did you put in? How many miles on that engine? Stock or multi layered head gasket? Chip tuned? What static compression numbers did that engine have? What's the stock dynamic CR of that engine with the stock head gasket? From other content I've heard that the stock engine is only good for 8 psi with the stock head gasket? With a multi layered gasket can the engine produce 400 crank HP? Thanks. Pretty cool video. The music over powered the content a bit.
I put a walbro 450 in it, and this one had 95k miles, we ended up putting in a cutting head gasket with arps. With a cutting head gasket, arps, e85 and a good tune you can make 600+
@@marcosdo995 cheers, i have since learned that. Most people play with m50 blocks here in the UK as theyre iron where m52 is alloy so weaker. Those that play with m52 just do 328 due to bigger displacement and they could well have started as 323 lumps before swapping the internals. Although the m52b30 frankinstein conversion is becoming more popular
If you finished turboing your car, and youre not gonna be the one tuning it, I advise going to a tuner shop, explain what you want, and ask them what ecu they are most comfortable with. And go with that
Like .9 bar I think idk but I wanna sc mine and since it’s lighter than the 6cyls it’s better around corners and better power to weight than an n/a 6cyl

@@MrSluby m52 us spec (my car) is iron block. I think that there’s more support towards boosting an inline 6 vs the inline 4. Those are my 2 cents, but at the end of the day as long as you have the money and the will, everything can be done.

can you boost an automatic e36?
Yes
Nothing to do with ur trans
sure not :)))
The automatic e36 m3 zf transmission can take the torque
No internal change ? Like a Piston , conrot , cams etc ???
Boni Syafialdi nope. Just arp headstuds and cuttring headgasket
What boost did you end up running bud?
MattyS 15-18lbs
bro your videos look great
What e36 is that?
Dope video!
Did you do head studs first?
I went with a cut ring and arps
What turbo is that ?
It’s a precision 6262
maybe should look the lambda sensor position.

not too much I reckon. I've read a lot and they mostly advise you to get the Inline 6 (M50/52) and those are easier to boost than a 4 cylinder one.
