Good monthly review, good idea refurbing an old tool. a friend of mine refurbed an old drill it was originally a 3 phase floor mounted drill, from the 1970's, he striped it down down to the nut and bolt ,re painted it oiled and greased it and fitted a new motor as the original was burnt out and fitted a 600 watt single phase motor and new switch gear, just plugs it in and it runs very well. Good to catch up over the past month, catch you soon Take care
The video mix is perfectly fine. Make your time worth it. Especially since it is your free time. If the ratio got skewed for a month or two I wouldn’t mind at all.
No unfortunately I'm only setting up my new 6m x 3m approx on the outside workshop so money a bit tight. I bought the TS1800 Tablesaw, 12" sliding mitre saw, oscillating belt and spindle sander, plunge saw and the 1100w dust extractor and I have to say that so far I'm extremely happy with everything. I would definitely say give them a try. Keep up the good work I enjoy your content. Your videos are very relatable.
I wrote my comment while I had paused your video and when I restarted it you said you were looking at Lumberjack so maybe I should have watched the fill video before commenting. 🤣🤣
Nice and concise update. Couple of comments. Be mindful when you say you "want to get the garage workshop exactly where you want it to be" before starting any home projects. In my experience, and it may be different for you, is that my workshop is never finished! Even when you think you've got it to a point that you're happy, something inevitably comes along that makes you want/need to change/upgrade something. Don't let that feeling hold you back from starting projects in the home, otherwise you'll never start on them! 😀 Bandsaw - You mentioned drift on your bandsaw on long cuts. I don't recall you using your bandsaw on many of your videos so can't remember if it's got a decent fence. If it hasn't then that's the obvious culprit to sort/purchase. If you're really in the market for a new one, i have an Axminster craft bandsaw. It's excellent. Not sure of the price point of the Lumberjack, but £200ish for the Axminster Craft bandsaw is pretty good. It's not failed me yet.
Hi Matt...I totally agree....I can always find something else...but I am getting closer the the final arrangement of workbenches, etc. The fence on the Titan is well know for movement and there's a lot of hacks on how to straighten it and make it better, all of which I have followed :) I am looking at the Axminster AW1400B but wanted to try and get one with the capacity for a wider blade but the AW1400B only goes up to 9.5mm. The equivalent from Lumberjack is their 8inch model and the spec is very similar but it's £60.00 cheaper...... The better Axminster is £350!
You should have a look at the Lumberjack selection as I've bought a number of their tools recently and so far I'm very happy. I'm also looking for a new drillpress to replace my Aldi work zone one which I have for about 8 years. I'm looking at the 16mm one once I have the funds.
Great video, I agree with you about Stumpy Nubs. Those videos have helped me start to sort out my shed.
It's a great channel Mark..thanks for the comment :)

Thanks Shaun...that's just what I mean i'd love to do that...bit obsessed with Pask Makes at present and he's done a few of those.

Thanks Fearsome...great comment as always!
Re the bandsaw, try looking at the blade guides, top and bottom, and adjust if necessary!
Thanks Alan....will do!
Them wheelie bins behind you would look well in a bin storage unit.
Totally agree!

Very concise update this month, I enjoyed your makers central walkabout since I didn’t get there. Links not working for me…
Hi Chewy....I will look at them again...I do sometimes have issues linking in RUclips
