"I Felt Something was WRONG!" Stephanie's Colon Cancer Story

Stephanie started getting stomach pains, bloating and felt run down. She was brushed off by doctors who said she was too young for cancer and put her on birth control. Her symptoms then got worse to the point where she felt she couldn't even eat. She then went to the ER, later got an endoscopy and was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.

Women’s symptoms are never taken seriously. It’s a real problem in the medical field. There are several studies out there regarding this very subject.

Any anemia is a red flag !
They should have been looking for the reasons of blood loss !

Yes. When I had anemia they did a colonoscopy to rule out blood loss through the intestines. Turns out it was fibroids and I’m getting a hysterectomy next Wednesday.

This scares me, I'm off work my 4th week can't get better. I'm having iron infusion next week. My iron is continuously falling lower. I feel so unwell. Lost so much weight

@@CathyAFarrif they’re having an iron infusion it means they’re already under the care of a doctor. Those are prescription only.
