What a beautiful flamenco dress. My ancestors were Spaniards too, and I remember my grandmother sewing a flamenco dress for me to wear. I love your channel.
That is super cute! I have been eyeing that same cotton canvas at Joann for awhile now. Thank you for opening my eyes to how we can use that cotton canvas. I’ve made one dress using it and love it! I never would have considered something like that before. I’ve learned so much watching your videos. Thank you so much!
Hello Marie hope you are well. Your great grandmother was so beautiful what a smile. I assume back then she had lot of marriage proposals. :) and the dress looks amazing..Now I will start to watch from the beginning:) Take care (Mary)
Definitely a fun dress and I think the fabric change was a good choice. That little bit of green at the center top looks like you did it on purpose to create a stem for the rose.
I’m obsessed with that dress. I’ve been looking for a flamenco dress to make for Halloween and will have to make that one for next year. You also look beautiful wearing it. You just need a “mantilla” and you’ll be ready to go to Sevilla. 😉
The dress looks great on you... You're great-grandmother is beautiful & you definitely resemble her. Your new puppy is adorable... How many dogs do you have now? Hope you'll be sharing some wedding photos... I'm sure it was a beautiful day!
That is the same fabric I bought to make pillow covers. How great it looks when used for this dress. With al the black lace, I'm getting a bit of Morticia Adams kind of a vibe since this dropped right after Halloween. I love watching all your projects.
I love it too! I was not so sure when I saw how many pieces there were and how you were hacking the pattern, but you kept it fun and now I want to make one. Thank you for your inspirations!❤
What a fun project! I enjoy seeing you enjoying the process 😊 Sewing time and fabric budget are limited over here, so my makes are not as fun, but I can appreciate your dress ❤
@5:34 this layering of ruffles look an awful like my 1994 highschool grad dress!!! 🤣 I had no idea I was wearing history when I thought I was so modern and cool😅!
Love it! Your grandmother was gorgeous, and so are you.
I love your dress. It gives the feel of the flamenco dress but doesn’t scream it so you can wear it anywhere you fancy.
Beautiful dress. So glad you saved the lovely little dog
The dress is cute. Love seeing the horses and the farm.

Your dressed made me smile. Cute and yes, I bet its really fun to wear. your grandma is beautiful!!!
I love that and the change of fabric was perfect, it is a great nod to flamenco but very wearable for any occasion. The little dog is so cute.
Such an interesting project. I love the dress!
You did a super job with making the circles lace for the dress I like the Flamenco dress. Came out beautifully. Thanks, you for sharing.
