This does seem like a nice series that you could do, and i think the game seems really fun and somewhat challenging. Idk why they shoot you tho lol.
watching after seeing your real talk vid. maybe there's a point I'm trying to make, maybe not but here are some sentences:
In reaction vids and gameplay vids, I'm 95% coming for the thing being reacted to or played. Very little of it has to do with the channel creator. If I see them a few times as I'm searching for reactions and like them, then I'll probably choose them first over others reacting or playing the thing I'm interested in. but that's as far as it goes.
Now contrast that with channels I keep going back to regardless of the subject, like travel vloggers, video game/anime essayists, or sketch comedians. I think I have kept watching them because they feel like the "driver" and they have something they really want to show me.
And now that I'm thinking about it, reaction and gaming vid channels feel like they are "passengers" of whatever Thing it is.
This food truck vid was obviously well edited and took a lot of effort. But ultimately you're asking the audience "Do you want to watch ME play this food truck game?" I think a majority of viewers will watch if they are already interested in the game. A smaller % will watch because they are your true armada. For me, since you mentioned that you liked this game, I was wishing that the vid was more you being a curator and telling me and showing me why you liked the game.
I'm sure there's a audience for what you are doing judging by the comments. I think comparing your view count to the reaction vids you were doing before is a mistake and the wrong mindset when trying to organically grow a base for your new content. but I think you already know that. Good on you for trying to problem solve and ask your audience for the feedback.
I'm only here for CG5 right now, but I really wish you goodluck with your channel. If I see you when searching for whatever thing I'm interested in next, you'll have some priority.
