NEEDA put Celes as Team Lead and at the top slot before you go for Vector! With the team you picked for Vector, should be like this from top-to-bottom IF this is the team you chose:
1. Celes(You'll have to put her BACK here AGAIN when you FIRST BOARD the "airship" before speaking to Setzer)
2. Edgar(OR Sabin IF you chose him)
3. Locke
4. Gau
THIS is to HELP ENSURE you GET the "Red" Magna Roaders to show up but MAKE SURE you KEEP the formation this way! Gau should have the "Imp" spell learned. ALSO, MAKE SURE you TAKE Gau BACK TO the VELDT(You can GET BACK THERE through MT Koltz through the Lete River in the Returners' Hideout) now so he can learn the following rages:
1. !Aspiran: GIGA Volt!
2. !AnguiForm: Aqua Breath!
3. !Fossil Dragon: Sand Storm!
4. !Gabbledegak: Vanish!
5. !Hill Gigas: Magnitude 8!
Numbers 1, 2, 3, and 5 you DEFINITELY will NEED!

Remember I said about the "Red" Magna Roaders in the "Mine Cart Sequence" in Vector: Yes, Party Formation MATTERS but other things factor into it too, such as AVOIDING using the "Save Spot" right by the mine cart! Like I said, after you defeat Number 024(Before getting all those 6 Espers in Vector), GO BACK To the save spot where you fought Ifrit and Shiva, and MAKE BACKUP SAVES there so you can RESET and RETRY as necessary to get those red magna roaders! Also, when facing Shiva and Ifrit, you can ESCAPE that battle while they shift places(It's all about timing!)!

I still had Sabin Gau Locke Celes all lv 40+ by now UNLIKE the other versions those Red Roaders almost ALWAYS show up this Pixel version BEFORE the Mine cart battle use the 4x AP cheat to have at least RASP on 1 party members unlike the OTHER versions of FF6 the Mine cart boss in the Pixel version CAN use Blaster to 1 shot the party AFTER you summon Phantom so by rasping the main boss the one that has that wind slash using Sword for Cyan as its only steal ONLY attempt to steal from it even with Locke at lvs over 40+ AFTER you drain the main body of the boss to ZERO MP before summoning Phantom.
While that mine cart boss dies have a Left/Right arm its only the MAIN body of that boss that FORCES the 2 arms to use spells so once the main body of that boss has no MP left Summon Phantom to Vanish the party OR use the said above Vanish using Rage then have Locke steal EVERY turn until that sword for Cyan is stolen.
Sandstorm as a Rage is PURE CRAP.
