I saw rob performing this on the south bank the other day... Didn't have time to stop and listen, but heard enough to do some you tubing and here it is... Beautiful! This is a truly stunning rendition, better than the original... Thank you rob!!

I love love love it - I just bought the CD but I fear I am not going to like it. I just get the feeling that like with so many fabulous true artistes the magic will be lost once in a studio and an editor starts whisking in backing tracks brass bands pianos etc. Hope I'm wrong - hope its just him and his guitar as that's what I want to hear

Yann F also you can put voice and guitar into a mixer, then you can use the output of the mixer and connect it trough a line into a tablet using some device like iRig so in this way you can record video and audio simultaneously so you can cancel all the noise around the singer. If you want to add some effect you can use the effects of the mixer or send the video to some laptop to add the effect from a software like GarageBand or sound forge.

I used a Zoom H1 recorder on a small table tripod close to Rob's amplifier and I synchronised it later in post
