    My mother would have been 15 in Toronto at that time and I'm sure the family would have tuned in (Guy Lombardo was a Canadian). Post-WWII happier times, After 2020 may we ALL have happier times. Merry Christmas!

    Wonderful!Loved Kenny on Winter Wonderland.What a great orchestra.I always loved this outfit.Always saw them when they came to town.

    The singing sounds so old fashioned but so so so nice.The music perfect and the diction so precise.Have we really improved so many decades later.I doubt it.Another age.How fashions change but not for the better!T.Heslop.

    Very enjoyable. Is the 1940's radio plastic? Kinda surprising if so.

      It is probably Bakelite.

      Thnx. Looked it up. Alternate name for the early plastic: polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride!
